L'opération inverse provoque l'embrayage.
Clutch device for chronograph. The present invention relates to a simplified clutch device for a chronograph; its aim is to reduce the number of wheels which generally transmit the movement of the second wheel to the mobile bearing the chronograph hand. The drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the device according to the invention.
Fig. 1 shows the device when the chronograph is running, while FIG. 2 represents it when the chronograph is stopped.
A shaft a pivots on the one hand in the chronograph bridge b, on the other hand driven into the center pinion.
A pinion g is mounted idle on shaft a. This pinion has an internal knurled buffer c countersink visible in fig. 2.
h is a cylindrical-conical part whose conical part carries a fine knurling corresponding to the internal knurling of the pinion.
A disc e, mounted idle on the shaft a, is kept pressed against the pinion g by a spring f which is supported on the other hand on the heart shown at d in the figures.
A spring i, mounted on a frozen part k of the chronograph, tends to push the pinion in the direction of the heart.
A lever d is pressed under the disc e. m is a rocker part of which is visible in the figure; the play of this rocker can cause the movement of the disc e.
Here is how the device works. The pinion g receives its movement from a wheel mounted on the mobile called small average. The gear is calculated such that this g pinion performs one revolution per minute.
The spring f being more powerful than the spring i, the pinion g remains pressed against h, there is thus, thanks to the knurling, a sufficient connection between these two parts so that the rotational movement of the first causes that of the second. The part h being driven fully on the shaft a, the latter participates in the movement of the pinion, as well as the chronograph hand which it carries, a hand not shown in the figures.
The disengagement takes place as follows: The rocker turns by a certain angle, under the effect of the column wheel, the part na of this rocker being in an inclined plane causes the movement of the part l; the latter pressed under the disc, which rises, causing the spring f to bend.
The pinion g follows the movement because of the spring i and then separates from the part h. The latter is therefore no longer driven and the chronograph is stopped. -.
The reverse operation causes the clutch.
