Anchor ecbappement and method for its manufacture. The present invention relates to a lever escapement and to a method for its manufacture.
The escapement is characterized in that the anchor has, laterally, nozzles which, to limit the movements of the anchor, abut against portions of the wall of the recess made in the plate for the anchor and the balance. .
The method is characterized in that limiting jaws are practiced laterally on the anchor and portions of the wall of the recess made in the plate are fitted to receive the anchor and the balance, so that its portions serve as stops on the limiting jaws, these portions being rectified, by stamping, at the same time as the holes in the feet and in the axes of the plate.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, a lever escapement in accordance with the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view thereof, and FIG. 2, a section through II-II of fig. 1. Figs. 3 and 4 show, in plan, respectively in elevation, a detail. Figs. 5 and 6 show a plan, respectively an elevation, of a variant of this detail.
In fig. 1 and 2, 1 is the plate in which a recess 2 is made for the balance and the anchor. This plate carries a pierced stone 3 cooperating with a counter-pivot and intended to receive the lower axis of the balance, as well as a pierced stone 4 intended to receive the lower pivot of the axis 5 of the anchor 6, the upper pivot of this rotating axis in a stone 7 carried by the bridge 8 of the anchor.
The anchor 6 carries below its chette oven 9 the usual dart 10 which cooperates with the small plate, not shown, of the balance. At the height of its base, this fork laterally carries two nozzles 11 and 12. On the other hand, the wall of the recess 2 has two portions 13 and 14 established along two diametrically opposed arcs of a circle of which the center is on the axis joining the centers of rotation of the balance and the anchor. Below these wall portions 13 and 14 and projecting from them in plan, is made, in the plate 1, the opening 15.
When the anchor moves, the jaws 11 and 12 strike the portions 13 and 14 of the wall and thus limit the movements of this anchor in both directions.
To achieve good interchangeability in mass production, it will be good to rectify the wall portions 13 and 14 at the same time as the holes in the feet and in the axes of the plate. For this purpose; it is possible to use a punch limited by the two aforementioned arcs of a circle and by the dashed lines which, in fig. 1, join the opposite ends of these arcs, punch which, at the end of its working stroke, will pass through the opening 15 of the plate.
In the variant of FIGS. 5 and 6, the limiting nozzles 11a and 121, are carried by the base of the fork 9a, no longer directly, but via the end of the dart 10 opposite to that cooperating with the balance plate; however, they remain at the level of the base of this fork.
