Equipment for the operation of X-ray tubes. As is well known, there is a need in X-ray diagnostics to be able to quickly switch from the illumination to the production of a recording. It is therefore desirable to require as few switching measures as possible to operate an X-ray device.
There are already facilities known in which the recording conditions on the indexing table <I> before </I> the fluoroscopy can be prepared, so that these operating conditions are immediately available after the fluoroscopy for recording by pressing a main switch.
After all, this facility makes the use of several control handles necessary. Since the examination room is darkened during the fluoroscopy, it is difficult to locate the individual switching handles and often requires lighting on the switch table. This lighting, however, blinds the eye, which is used to the dark, to a greater or lesser extent or disturbs it during the fluoroscopy.
According to the present invention, he follows the actuation of the contact elements for setting the desired operating conditions for the fluoroscopy and the recording of a single operating handle, each of the adjustable operating conditions corresponding to a predetermined, unchangeable tube current strength.
It is therefore no longer necessary to operate a second main switch for the exposure conditions after the fluoroscopy.
The switch positions for the recording and the fluoroscopy are expediently on opposite sides of the rest position. Since it has been shown that a limited number of voltages and tube currents can be used in normal diagnostics, only four switch positions can advantageously be provided for both fluoroscopy and recording, with predetermined voltages and also before certain tube currents correspond. The switch is then set up in such a way that a resilient switching pawl, which can be clearly felt by the hand, moves into every switch position.
Since each of the two operating modes only corresponds to four switch positions, the desired operating condition can be selected without considering a switch scale, simply with the feeling of the hand operating the switch. In this device, therefore, after performing the fluoroscopy, the switch required for this is rotated beyond the zero position to the desired contact for the recording, whereupon the time switch needs to be triggered.
The doctor therefore has one hand free during the examination, as he only needs to keep one hand on the switch handle. This facility makes it extremely easy to set up on the indexing table, so that operation can be carried out in a very clear manner.
With such a simplified structure of the switch table, however, the condition for achieving correct results is that the voltage of the network to which the high-voltage device is connected always has the exact prescribed value. Since this almost never applies in reality, it is advisable to provide a special pre-regulation with the help of which the deviating mains voltage can be regulated to the prescribed value so that the precisely prescribed voltage is supplied to the primary windings of the heating and high-voltage transformer. This pre-regulation can take place in a manner known per se via a step transformer.
As such, the same transformer can be used from which the various operating conditions for fluoroscopy and recording are taken.
An embodiment of a device according to the invention is shown in the figure. - The X-ray tube 1, with anode 2 and cathode 3, receives its high voltage from the secondary winding of the high voltage transformer 4 and its heating voltage from the heating transformer 5. The step transformer 6 is used to set the required operating conditions on the high voltage and heating transformer The primary winding of the high-voltage transformer taps of the step transformer, four in number, act via the shift drum 7, the surface of which is rolled onto the plane of the drawing in the illustration.
A clockwise rotation of the switching drum corresponds to a shift of the contacts $ from left to right, where the four voltages for fluoroscopy are switched on one after the other.
A rotation of the shift drum in the opposite direction of the clockwise ent speaks a shift of the contacts 9 from right to left, whereby the four voltages are switched on for the recording. The short-circuit contacts 9 ″ also take part in the displacement. Thus, various parts of the resistor 10 are short-circuited with the voltages for the absorption. When the switching drum is rotated, the contacts If you move from left to right, the voltages for the fluoroscopy are switched on. Through the contacts 9 located on the rotatable part of the switching drum 7, voltage is now applied to the manual switch 12.
When recording, however, there is no voltage on the hand switch 12, so that only the timer 11 closes the circuit to the transformer 4 and the X-ray tube is protected from overload.
A second switching drum 13 serves to pre-regulate the voltage drawn from the network 14. On the fixed part of this switching roller contacts 15 and 15a are arranged. When the roller rotates, the contacts 15 first come into contact with the contacts 16 on the movable part of the roller, so that a connection between the network and one of the branches of the step transformer 6 is established becomes. The contacts 16 ″ seated on the rotatable part of the roller 13 serve to bridge a protective resistor 17.
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the pre-regulation of the power saving 14 takes place in the same step transformer 6 as the setting of the operationally-dependent for fluoroscopy and recording. The figure shows the roller 13 in its zero position. The connection between the network and the step transformer is canceled. By turning from the zero position, the voltage indicated by the measuring instrument I "can be set to the prescribed value.
If you move the switching roller 7, a Sperrvorrich device is thereby engaged, which prevents rotation of the roller 16 from its respective position ver. The purpose of this coupling, which can take place mechanically or electrically, is to ensure that it is not possible to change the correct initial voltage once it has been set during further regulation. The operator can therefore always rely on the fact that the tube, provided that the line voltage correction with the roller 13 has taken place in the correct manner, works with the voltage and current intensity which belong to the positions of the roller 7.
