Description
For driving certain bearing stones, especially for watches. The subject matter of the invention is a bearing block intended for driving, in particular for watches. The peculiarity of the invention is that the bearing block is smoothly pos lerted on its outer surface.
A perforated stone, for example made of garnet, which is used as a bearing stone in a watch or some other measuring instrument, for example a volt or ammeter, is used to store an axle journal and is intended to be driven (emboutir) into its socket polished smooth.
It has been shown that, due to the polished outer surface, which do not offer any rough points of attack for the bore of the mount, there is no risk of breakage for the stone when driving into the mount even with relatively soft stones, or this risk of breakage to a minimum is reduced, while previously soft stones with a rough outer surface result in a relatively large percentage of fractures, whereby the whole stones are each unusable.
Of course, the invention can also be used with hard stones, rubies, agate, etc.
