ablau fenden Waschprozess, nachbehandelt.
2. Gegebenenfalls Trocknen bei Temperaturen bis etwa <B>1<I>10'</I></B> C, vorzugsweise bei 90 bis<B>1<I>10'</I></B> C.

In der Literatur (Textil-Rundschau St. Gallen, 1961, 16, Seiten 713 bis 725) wird zwar der einbadige Einsatz von Dispersionsfarbstoffen und Harzen (Dimethyloläthylen- harnstoff, Dimethylolglyoxalharnstoff) zum gleichzeitigen Färben und Ausrüsten von Synthesefasern bereits beschrie ben;
Das Gewebe wird mit einer Warengeschwindigkeit von 20 Metern pro Minuk auf einer Breitwaschmaschine wie folgt sorgfältig ausgewaschen und getrocknet: 1. kalt spülen mit Überlauf 2. kalt spülen mit Essigsäurezusatz 3. seifen bei 50 C mit einer Lösung, die im Liter 1,0 g eines Butan-diol-(1,4)-pentadekaglykol- äther-dioleylesters, 0,5 em3 einer 50%igen Essigsäure enthält;
Tabelle 1).

The dyeing of cellulose fiber-containing textiles with reactive dyes, which can be fixed in two stages on the fiber under strongly alkaline conditions, forming a covalent chemical bond, is widespread in practice. Such two-phase processes are well known and customary in practice for vat dyes.
Equally widespread is the crease-proof finishing of cellulosic fiber-containing textiles with products that give these textiles a reduced tendency to crease and increased self-smoothing properties.
In practice, these two finishing steps are carried out separately, one after the other, in such a way that the textile material is first dyed or printed and then made crease-proof.
A separation of the two finishing courses is also chemically conditioned, since the dye fixation is controlled alkaline, but the usual crease-resistant finishes are catalyzed by acid donors.
From BE-PS 616 368 it is known to apply anti-crease products, curing catalysts and alkaline-reacting vinyl sulfone or sulfonamide dyes simultaneously to textile material that consists entirely or predominantly of native or regenerated cellulose. The anti-crease agent is fixed in a dry condensation process and the non-acid-sensitive dye is fixed in an alkaline manner in the second stage.
With this method, however, only the separate application of the anti-crease product and a drying process are saved. The curing of the anti-crease agent and the alkaline fixing of the reactive dye continue to take place in separate stages.
It was also not possible to achieve optimal fastness properties of the dyeings or prints, since the dye component that did not react with the fiber was difficult to wash off, but rather was retained by the synthetic resin, so that in the end the real dye-fiber bond did not The fastness properties were determined by the wash resistance of the synthetic resin and the dyestuff included in it.
Similar processes are also described in US Pat. No. 3,054,699 and in both British Patents 846,505 and 884,043. The textiles are treated with aqueous solutions that contain a resin-forming component, an acid donor and dyes that have a halogen atom or another reactive group and that can react with the synthetic resin or fiber in an acid medium at high temperatures.
Here, too, it has been found that under the specified process conditions, in no case does the reactive dye groups react with the cellulose, but instead the dyes are fixed exclusively by the synthetic resin. This means that optimal fastness properties are not achieved even with this method; rather, these also depend on the wash fastness of the synthetic resin. Another disadvantage of these known methods is the use of acidic condensable synthetic resins, which only affect the dry wrinkle properties of the fabric equipped with them.
This latter finding led for the first time in the process of British patent specification 982 255 to the simultaneous use of two anti-crease agents, the first being a customary, acid-condensable resin of the N-methylolurea type and the second being a divinyl sulfone derivative, which only occurs through a steaming process reacts in an alkaline medium. In this way, not only good dry creasing properties but also excellent wet creasing properties are obtained at the same time.
However, due to the toxicity of divinyl sulfones, this process has not been implemented in practice. In addition, there is the disadvantage that two different types of resin are required for dry crease resistance and wet crease resistance.
From US Pat. No. 2,837,511 and DT-OS 1,940,799, however, processes are known in which both dry and wet crease-proof effects are obtained by using a single compound, a so-called ambivalent anti-crease agent, when refining cellulose fiber-containing textiles. Dirse ambivalent networkers, such as B.
N-methylolacrylamide or N-methylol-methylene-bis-acrylamide, are condensed dry after application with acid donors in the usual manner with reaction of the N-methylol groups and in a second separate stage in the swollen state in an alkaline medium Residence process linked to the cellulose.
In addition to excellent dry wrinkle resistance, this ambivalent crosslinking also provides excellent wet wrinkle resistance effects. An ambivalent networked textile material shows drip and spindry effects, i. H. Self-smoothing properties that cannot be achieved with conventional dry curing.
But even these processes using an ambivalent high-quality finishing agent, despite the excellent dry and wet creasing behavior, have not yet prevailed in practice for economic reasons due to the discontinuous operation.
With the present inventive method, it has been possible to combine the advantages of ambivalent crosslinking, as described above, with the alkaline fixing methods for reactive or vat dyes, the so-called two-phase method, which have been known for a long time, by using the two finishing steps before existing alkaline development stages can be merged into one step.
The invention thus provides a method for the simultaneous dyeing and crease-resistant finishing of textiles consisting of cellulose fibers or mixtures of cellulose fibers with polyester fibers, by jointly fixing dyes and high-quality finishing agents on the textiles, which is characterized in that the either with reactive or vat dyes or with disperse dyes as well as reactive and vat dyes and also with N-methylolacrylamide or N,
Textile material impregnated with N-Dimethylol-methylen-bis-arylamide or its ether with 1 to 3 C-atoms containing alkanols as ambivalent crosslinking agent and acid catalyst dries, in a first fixing stage by dry heating the N-methylol groups of the ambivalent crosslinking agent acidic condensed and the optionally available disperse dye simultaneously fixed and in a second fixing stage in the alkaline medium together the reactive or vat dye and the ambivalent cross-linking agent are fixed and then the textile material in a preferably stepwise, preferably in acidic baths,
ongoing washing process, post-treated.
In the process according to the invention, the condensation of the N-methylol groups or the simultaneous fixation of the disperse dyes takes place by dry heating as part of the first fixing stage as well as the alkaline crosslinking of the ambivalent resin and the simultaneous development of the vat dye or fixation of the reactive dye in the alkaline Medium in the context of the second fixing stage under the usual conditions for this.
Surprisingly, it was found that the authenticity properties, light, rub and wash fastness properties of the dyeings when using ambivalent crosslinkers according to the invention are significantly better than when using a normal wrinkle-resistant product, eg. B. of the type of an N-methytol ethylene urea, N-methylol-glyoxalurea or other cross-linking compounds.
According to this new procedure, when dyeing with reactive or vat dyes on cellulose fiber material, a padding process, a washing operation, two drying processes and an alkaline wet treatment can be saved compared to the conventional procedure with subsequent high-quality finishing:
When dyeing polyester-cellulose fiber blended fabrics with reactive or vat dyes and disperse dyes, all the work processes required for the high-end finishing with ambivalent crosslinking agents, namely a padding process, a washing process, two drying processes, an alkaline wet treatment and a thermosetting process, are saved.
The preferred mode of operation of the new process for use on cellulose fibers and on polyester-cellulose fiber mixtures is shown in principle below: 1. Finishing of pure cellulose fiber textiles 1. Single bath application of reactive or vat dyes and ambivalent crosslinking agent based on N-methylol-acrylamide or N, N-dimethylol-methylene-bis-acrylamide and acid catalyst by padding, impregnating or spraying onto the textile material to be finished.
2. If necessary, drying at temperatures up to about <B> 1<I>10'</I> </B> C, preferably at 90 to <B> 1 <I> 10 '</I> </B> C.
3. Condensation by dry heating in the broad state for '/ z to <B> 10 </B> minutes at temperatures between about 140 and 240 C, preferably 150 to 16 (1 C.
4, Alkaline wet treatment at pH values above lt) to fix the dyes and at the same time crosslink the ambivalent crosslinker.
5. Washing and soaps. 6. Drying. The alkaline wet treatment can be carried out with the sole use of reactive dyes, preferably by the so-called cold pad process at room temperatures, i.e. H. at about 10 to 30 C, with about 8 to 150 g / 1 sodium or potassium hydroxide over a period of about 2 to 100 hours.
The vat dyes, on the other hand, are preferably developed under steaming conditions, also in the presence of alkali for about 10 seconds to 30 minutes at elevated temperatures of up to about 150 C. In both cases, the ambivalent anti-crease agent is crosslinked at the same time.
Finally, it is washed, optionally oxidized, soaped and dried.
II. Finishing of textiles made from polyester-cellulose fiber mixtures For the dyeing of textiles made from polyester-cellulose fiber mixtures, combinations of disperse dyes with reactive or vat dyes have proven particularly useful in practice.
A mixture of disperse dyes and reactive or vat dyes is applied together to the material to be dyed, then dried and then heat-set at 180 to 240 C to fix the disperse dye on the polyester fiber portion. The procedure described under I. is then used to fix the reactive or vat dyes on the cellulose fiber portion.
The following working principle therefore applies to the application of the method of the invention to such fiber mixtures: I. Single-bath application of the disperse dyes and reactive or vat dyes and the ambivalent crosslinker and acid catalyst (as under I.).
2. If necessary, drying at temperatures up to about 110 ° C., preferably at 90 to 110 ° C.
3. Thermosetting of the disperse dyes and simultaneous condensation of the N-methylol groups by dry heating for about 1/2 to 5 minutes at about 180 to 240 C.
4. Alkaline wet treatment to fix the reactive or vat dyes with simultaneous crosslinking of the ambivalent anti-crease agent.
5. Washing and soaps. 6. Drying.
Particular attention must be paid to thorough post-treatment of the dyed and finished textile materials. It is already difficult in and of itself, when dyeing polyester-cellulose fiber blended fabrics with such dye mixtures, to completely wash out the excess dispersion dye content.
On the other hand, how much more difficult is the washing process on highly refined blended fabrics, since the disperse dyestuff also tends to soil the applied synthetic resin during the washing process, which leads to additional cloudiness and soiling.
It has now been found that these stains from the disperse dye content lead to irreparable difficulties only in the alkaline pH range, but that they can largely be avoided if the individual stages of the washout process at the end of the finishing process run in more or less acidic liquors .
In the continuous process, for example, optimal results can be obtained on a wide washing machine with at least 7 washing compartments using the following procedure:

With this step-by-step aftertreatment, not only can optimum colorations be achieved without influencing the dry and wet creasing behavior in any way, but also the usual fastness properties such as e.g. B. water, washing and perspiration fastness properties largely correspond to the standard values of dyeings on non-highly refined mixed fabrics.
The process according to the invention can be carried out without restriction with all mixtures of disperse and reactive or vat dyes. The material receives z. B. the very important good self-smoothing capacity for polyester fiber-cotton blends (dripdry effect of approx. 4.5 according to Monsanto), which cannot be achieved by pure dry crosslinking.
In the literature (Textil-Rundschau St. Gallen, 1961, 16, pages 713 to 725), the single-bath use of disperse dyes and resins (dimethylolethylene urea, dimethylolglyoxalurea) for simultaneous dyeing and finishing of synthetic fibers is already described;
however, these processes have not yet been able to be introduced in practice, since the results here were satisfactory from the dyeing point of view with regard to fastness and color yield, but otherwise had a number of disadvantages in terms of crease resistance. Due to the high temperatures of the thermosetting process, a so-called thermosolation rigidity of the finished materials cannot be avoided.
Although this can be somewhat alleviated by varying the fixing conditions and by adding plasticizers, it does, however, lead to intolerable hardening, especially on light grades. The anti-crease effects achieved with these processes correspond to those of conventional dry crosslinking. The good self-smoothing grades of z.
B. 4.5 according to Monsanto (cf. AATCC Standard Test Method 88-1961) and wet crease angle according to Tootal from 270 to 300 C (warp and weft) (cf. SVF specialist organ for textile finishing 12 B) > 1957], page 754), as they are achieved in the combination process according to the invention with the ambivalent crosslinkers, as already mentioned, however, cannot be achieved with the processes described in the literature.
In the method of the inven tion, the handle achieved is much more pleasant and pleasing than in the known method. The combination of ambivalent crosslinking / joint fixing with dispersion / reactive or vat dyes is optimal in terms of the rationality of the dyeing and finishing steps.
The inventive method for the joint fixing of ambivalent crease-resistant products and dyes on textiles can be applied to the known cellulosic fibers and mixtures of polyester fibers and cellulose fibers. The cellulose fibers can be native fibers, such as flax, hemp, linen, cotton, or regenerated fibers, such as viscose, rayon, modal fibers.
The polyester fibers can be those made from the known linear polyesters which can be dyed with disperse dyes. There are no restrictions with regard to the disperse dyes to be used. All dyes that can be fixed to polyester fibers by a heat setting process between 180 and 240 C are suitable.
For the process according to the invention, dyes from all known reactive dye systems, eg. B. based on monochlorotriazine, dichlorotriazine, trichloropyrimidine, vinylsulfone, vinylsulfonamide, dichloroquinoxaline and acrylamide dyes can be used. Those reactive dyes are preferably used which are stable under the conditions of acid-catalyzed dry crosslinking.
As vat dyes, dyes of the type of mono- and polyazo dyes, indigo, thioindigo and the corresponding derivatives, anthraquinone dyes with one or more anthraquinone nuclei, indanthrone, flavanthrone and anthraquinone carbazole, acridones, (thio) oxanthrones,
Anthranthones and anthrinides and of dibenzanthrone and dibenzpyrenquinone and the like. a. Find use.
The products known from DT-OS 1 94 (1799 and US Pat. No. 2,837,511, namely N-methylol compounds of acrylamide or of methylene-bis-acrylamide or the ethers of these methylol compounds with lower levels) are preferred as ambivalent crosslinkers , Alcohols containing 1 to 3 carbon atoms are used.
These ambivalent crosslinking agents are used in the usual amounts of about 1 to 25 percent by weight, preferably 2 to 15 percent by weight, based on the textile material to be finished, which are customary in the finishing of textiles. In addition to these ambivalent crosslinking agents, in the process of the invention, if desired, finishing agents containing other curable N-methylol groups can also be used.
Such finishing agents are primarily the methylol compounds of urea or urea derivatives including the dych compounds such as ethylene urea, 1,3-propylene urea, melamine and their derivatives and the methylol compounds of mono- and dicarbamic acid esters and the like .
The ethers of these methylol compounds with lower alkanols can also be used. These customary curable finishing agents can be added in amounts of up to about 150 percent by weight, based on the amount of ambivalent crosslinking agents used.
Suitable acid catalysts (often also referred to as curing or acetalization catalysts) are the substances customary for this purpose in high-grade refinement. It can be strong or medium-strength organic or inorganic acids, such as. B. monochloroacetic acid, trichloroacetic acid, tartaric acid, citric acid, oxalic acid, glycolic acid, phosphoric acid, hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid.
Also suitable are latently acidic compounds that develop acid under the conditions of the first fixation stage: Examples of such latently acidic compounds are salts of medium or strong acids with ammonia, amines or polyvalent metals such as ammonium chloride, ammonium sulfate, ammonium phosphate, ethanol ammonium chloride , Magnesium chloride, zinc chloride, zinc nitrate, aluminum chloride, zinc fluorate and zirconium oxychloride. The acid catalysts are used in the usual amounts,
which depends primarily on the amount of ambivalent crosslinking agent used and any other curable N-methylol compounds that may also be used. In general, the amount of acid catalysts is about 0.3 to 30 percent by weight, preferably 5 to 25 percent by weight, based on the total amount of crosslinking agents used.
In the process of the invention, additives such as plasticizers, polyethylene dispersions, water repellants and other commonly used products and auxiliaries can be used without impairing the dyeing and finishing effects.
The following examples are intended to explain the present invention in more detail. A restriction to the products and test conditions listed in the examples is not intended.
The color index numbers given in the examples for characterizing the dyes were taken from the 2nd edition <B> 1956 </B> and the supplementary volume from 1963.
In the examples, unless expressly stated otherwise, the percentages are percentages by weight and the parts are parts by weight.
