Il existe<B>déjà</B> des brise-jets <B>à</B> pomme d'arrosoir produisant une douche. Leur avan tage principal réside en ce qu'ils suppriment les éclaboussures. Par contre, ils sont peu commodes ou ne se prêtent pas du tout au remplissage de récipients<B>à</B> goulots étroits, par exemple, des bouteilles, ni non plus au rinçace de l'évier<B>à</B> grand jet d'eau. Si donc 011 veut obtenir titi jet plein, le brise-jet doit être enlevé soit de l'embouchure du robinet soit du tuyau flexible le rattachant au robinet.
Le brise-jet, objet de l'invention, est exempt de ce défaut. Selon l'invention, le brise-jet comporte une pomme d'arrosoir munie d'une tubulure d'écoulement centrale présen tant<B>à</B> son intérieur, mie soupape susceptible d'ouvrir et de fermer<B>à</B> volonté l'orifice de la tubulure le tout de façon que l'on puisse obtenir un jet plein ou une douche. Cette soupape pourrait être constituée par une bille et alors l'ouverture, et fermeture de l'orifice pourraient s'opérer soit par une inclinaison adéquate de la pomme d'arrosoir, soit par un coup sec frappé sur cette pomme.
Le dessin annexé représente,<B>à</B> titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du brise-jet. Fig. <B>1</B> en est une coupe axiale, la soupape occupant une position telle que l'eau sorte par le fond perforé de la pomme d'arrosoir; Fig. 2 est une coupe analogue, l'eau sortant cependant par la tubulure centrale. Dans ces figures,<B>1</B> désigne<B>le</B> tuyau de raccordement du brise-jet au robinet, 2 la pomme d'arrosoir.
La pomme d'arrosoir comporte dans son axe une tubulure courte<B>3</B> destinée<B>à</B> débiter le jet plein, le fond perforé 2' de cette pomme d'arrosoir s étendant autour de cette tubulure. <B>A</B> l'intérieur de la pomme d'arrosoir est dis posé un second fond perforé 4 de forme tronconique qui se raccorde<B>à</B> l'embouchure de la tubulure et sur lequel repose une bille<B>5,</B> de préférence en une matière lourde, telle, que du plomb, propre<B>à</B> faire office de sou pape obturatrice de la tubulure.
Normalement, cette bille se trouvera au bas de la pente que forme le fond 4, c'est- à-dire que l'orifice de la tubulure est libre. L'eau passant dans le brise-jet est débitée alors par la tubulure<B>3</B> en un jet plein (Fig. 2).
Pour avoir une douche, il suffit de secouer un peu la pomme d'arrosoir. La bille se rapproche alors de l'orifice de la tubulure<B>3</B> et elle sera<B>à</B> un certain moment happée par le courant d'eau et pressée sur ledit orifice.
Inversement, il suffit pour transfor er a douche en- jet plein, soit de fermer le robine et de secouer la pomme d'arrosoir, soit de boucher du doigt, pendant l'écoulement de l'eau, la tubulure<B>3</B> ce qui a pour effet de chasser la bille de son siège vers le bas de la pente, où elle reste sous l'action de, son propre poids.

There are <B> already </B> jet breakers <B> with </B> spray heads producing a shower. Their main advantage is that they eliminate splashing. On the other hand, they are inconvenient or do not lend themselves at all to the filling of containers <B> with </B> narrow necks, for example, bottles, nor to the rinsing of the sink <B> to </ B> large water jet. If therefore 011 wants to obtain a full jet, the jet breaker must be removed either from the mouth of the tap or from the flexible pipe connecting it to the tap.
The jet breaker, object of the invention, is free from this defect. According to the invention, the jet-breaker comprises a spray head provided with a central flow pipe having <B> inside </B> its interior, a valve capable of opening and closing <B> at </B> will the orifice of the tubing the whole so that one can get a full jet or a shower. This valve could be constituted by a ball and then the opening and closing of the orifice could take place either by an adequate inclination of the watering head, or by a sharp blow struck on this apple.
The accompanying drawing represents, <B> to </B> by way of example, an embodiment of the jet breaker. Fig. <B> 1 </B> is an axial section, the valve occupying a position such that the water comes out through the perforated bottom of the spray head; Fig. 2 is a similar section, the water however exiting through the central tubing. In these figures, <B> 1 </B> designates <B> the </B> pipe for connecting the jet-breaker to the tap, 2 the spray head.
The sprinkler head has in its axis a short tube <B> 3 </B> intended <B> to </B> deliver the full jet, the perforated bottom 2 'of this sprinkler head extending around this tubing. <B> A </B> inside the spray head is placed a second perforated bottom 4 of frustoconical shape which connects <B> to </B> the mouth of the tubing and on which rests a ball <B> 5, </B> preferably of a heavy material, such as lead, suitable <B> to </B> serve as a valve for the obturator of the tubing.
Normally, this ball will be at the bottom of the slope formed by the bottom 4, that is to say the orifice of the tubing is free. The water passing through the jet breaker is then discharged through the tubing <B> 3 </B> in a full jet (Fig. 2).
To have a shower, you just need to shake the spray head a little. The ball then approaches the orifice of the tubing <B> 3 </B> and it will be <B> at </B> at a certain moment caught up by the stream of water and pressed onto said orifice.
Conversely, to transform the shower into a full jet, it suffices to either close the tap and shake the spray head, or to block with your finger, while the water is flowing, the tubing <B> 3 < / B> which has the effect of driving the ball from its seat down the slope, where it remains under the action of its own weight.
