Process for the production of sheet metal stator bodies from segments for electrical machines, especially turbo generators. Sheet metal stators of electrical machines, especially turbo generators, are usually manufactured in such a way that the sheets are layered in a finished housing made of cast iron or welded construction.
This construction requires that first the casting or welding production of the housing, including the necessary mechanical processing, such as turning for the sheet metal seat. Milling and planing for feet and air connections, etc., are made, which requires relatively heavy processing machines, complicated Aufspanneinrich lines and cumbersome manipulation with the hat-hitting workpiece due to the cubic dimensions of sol cher housing.
According to the invention, these expensive operations are now avoided in that the sheet metal segments provided with the winding grooves are layered from the outside on a drum, with a certain number of rails fitting in the grooves serving as radial and tangential seats, and that strips are introduced in the axial direction in recesses on the outer edge of the sheet metal segments. This lining up on a central drum with operation from the outside has the advantage of being quemier work process - than the previously usual method of lining up the sheets from the bore side.
In addition, precise seating of the sheet metal is primarily ensured in the groove parts, where a smooth surface of the walls is of great importance for the proper seating of the coils and thus for good heat dissipation from the groove copper to the sheet metal.
The strips arranged on the outer sheet metal circumference, for example the support bars, which are advantageously connected to the housing in a suitable manner after the sheet metal, can be placed axially to the sheet metal while the sheets are being lined up in sections or after the sheet metal has been finished. body can be inserted in appropriately punched cutouts on the outer edge of the sheet.
In this case, these support strips or strips used provisionally instead of the same can be used to prevent the sheet metal segments from deflecting radially outwards during the stacking and pressing of the sheets, inside. which the same are supported from the outside during the progress of the sheet stacking radially from.
In Fig. 1 of the drawing, a sheet metal body, which is partially finished according to an exemplary embodiment of the subject of the invention, is shown diagrammatically. 1 is the central drum, 2 are the guide rails, which fit exactly into the grooves 3 of the sheet metal segments 4, 5 are the support bars of the sheets or provisional Lei costs that engage in the recesses 6 of the sheets; they are supported radially on the outside by screws 7 and centered rings 8 >> axially.
The welded housing can be built up around the sheet metal body after the finished sheet metal. In the following, an example of this process will be described: A first step is the use of an outer housing end wall as a lower flange, with the layered drum being mounted centrally in the same. When the sheet metal body is built up successively or after it has been layered, partitions 9 and webs 10 (Fig. 2) may also be pushed axially over the sheet metal body and, after the layer is finished, the second housing end wall is also centered on the drum and applied as an upper press flange , and the finished pressing of the sheet metal body made with the same.
After such completion of the sheet metal body, the two housing end walls and possibly intermediate walls (FIG. 2) are now welded to the support strips for the sheets and under them at a suitable distance to produce a closed housing; also the necessary air ducts and the outer casing can be welded or screwed on, whereupon after removal of the central lamination drum 1, the laminated stator is ready and ready to take up the winding.
