Bigoudi avec protecteur pour l'ondulation des cheveux. L'objet de la présente invention est un bi goudi avec protecteur pour l'ondulation des cheveux. D'après l'invention, le bigoudi est maintenu de façon amovible sur le protecteur au moyen d'au moins un crochet pouvant coo pérer avec chaque encoche d'une série d'en coches entourant au moins l'une des extrémi tés du bigoudi.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 est une vue du bigoudi; La fig. 2 montre le protecteur ouvert, et La fig. 3 est une vue en bout du même protecteur fermé.
Le bigoudi 1 représenté à la fig. 1 est ter miné à chacune de ses extrémités par une lan terne pleine 2, respectivement 3 dans les quelles sont ménagées des encoches longitudi nales 4.
Le protecteur comporte deux mâchoires 5 étrticulées l'une à l'autre. La première porte un crochet de fermeture et est moins large que la seconde à laquelle sont fixés les ar ceaux 6 et 7, munis chacun d'un cran 8 et constituant les crochets servant à la fixation du bigoudi 1. Les deux mâchoires sont cons tituées par deux plaques en bakélite ou ma tière analogue, maintenues ensemble par des charnières, et dont l'épaisseur peut varier suivant les besoins. La surface du protecteur venant en contact avec la tête est munie de garnitures en feutre ou en une matière sem blable pour la protection du cuir chevelu.
Les arceaux 6 et 7 sont fixés sur la pla que en bakélice la plus large, entre celle-ci et la garniture molle. Les deux arceaux re çoivent après l'enroulement d'une mèche de cheveux sur le bigoudi 1 les lanternes 2 et 3 de ce dernier, de sorte que chacun des crans 8 s'enfonce dans une encoche 4 et maintient ainsi le bigoudi et le protecteur assemblés.
Les arceaux 6 et 7 ne sont pas nécessaire ment flexibles et l'un d'eux peut avoir sa partie interne lisse, sans cran. L'un des ar ceaux peut également être remplacé par une butée fixe de n'importe quelle forme et sans cran d'arrêt, l'autre restant comme décrit plus haut et constituant le crochet de retenue du bigoudi. Dans le cas où l'on emploie un seul crochet de retenue du bigoudi, la lanterne 2 ou 3 correspondant à. l'arceau ou butée lisse 6 ou 7 peut être lisse, c'est-à-dire sans encoches.

The two jaws are made up by two bakelite or similar plates, held together by hinges, and the thickness of which may vary according to needs. The surface of the protector coming into contact with the head is provided with inserts of felt or a similar material for the protection of the scalp.
The hoops 6 and 7 are fixed on the widest bakelice plate, between it and the soft filling.
