: Machine for the production of moldings from fat or butter dough, marzipan or other plastic materials. The invention relates to a machine for the production of moldings from fat or butter dough, marzipan or other plastic masses, with a mold roll provided with ain ITmfang with molds forming depressions and a good serving for pressing the mold on the mold roll and on its circumference with projections and In-depths,
which should favor the adhesion of a provided pressure roller. In the known machines of this type, the molding is either cut abge at an unrich term chosen point on the pressure roller.
or inadequately or inappropriately supported during and after the cutting. Furthermore, in known designs, the pressure roller and molding roller were arranged at the same height, with the result that the molded product often stuck in the molding roller and was torn off the molding material jacket of the pressure roller.
In the machine according to the present invention, these disadvantages are avoided by the fact that the axis of the forming roller is higher than the axis of the pressure roller and the knife is arranged so inclined between the rollers that the molding immediately after stepping out is cut from the molding roller from the layer of material to be molded and during and after the cutting .by this knife is supported and slides down along it.
Preferably, the diameter of the pressure roller is selected to be greater than the diameter of the forming roller. Furthermore, the knife can be attached to a rotatable and reciprocating rod mounted in the machine frame, and this rod can be adjustably coupled by one or more arms to a second rod mounted parallel and also movable to and fro in the machine frame.
Finally, the space on the support side of the knife can be divided by fixed or adjustable guide walls in guide channels for the cut-off dough pieces.
An embodiment of the subject invention, namely a machine for shaping baked goods-is shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 is a schematic illustration of the main parts of the machine; Fig. 2 is a vertical section of part of the rollers and knife, approx. in natural size; Fig. 3 is a plan view of the knife and its carriers in about half the natural size.
The machine shown consists of a pressure roller 1 and a forming roller 2, the geometric axis of the forming roller being higher than the geometric axis of the pressing roller. In the discharge angle between the rollers is. an adjustable and supported knife 3 is inclined, and underneath .this knife a transport device in the form of a conveyor belt 4 is arranged, which guides the briquettes to the conveyor belt 5 or to the baking plates placed on them.
The dough roller 1 is provided in the usual manner on the circumference with longitudinal grooves 6 and ribs 7 according to FIG. 2, which are intended to promote the adhesion of a layer of dough during operation on this roller. In the mold roller 2, the molds for the moldings forming recesses are easily seen.
The knife 3 is fastened on a flattened part of a round rod 10 (Fig. 3), which is rotatably mounted in the machine frame 11. This rod is provided at one end with a roller 12 which is guided in a provided in the circumference of a disc 13 wel leniform groove 14 for the purpose of reciprocating rod 1-0 and, the knife 3 in its longitudinal direction.
One end of the rod 10 is one -. Arm 15 attached, which is adjustable with the other end coupled to a second, parallel to the rod 10 to and fro movable in the machine frame 11 Ma mounted round rod 16. The rod 16 is provided with a square part 17 which is displaceable in a slot 18 provided in the end of the arm 15. With the aid of a screw spindle 20 (Fig. 2) provided with an adjusting wheel 19, the end of the arm 15 can be set on the rod 16 in Be train. The set position can be secured by tightening the nut 21 arranged on the end of the rod 16.
The knife is guided by this rod system and associated parts in such a way that swinging or turning over is impossible during its movement. By setting the arm 15 in relation to the rod 16, however, the cutting edge of the knife 3 can be adjusted in the direction of the double arrow P (Fig. 2), depending on the desired thickness of the moldings to be produced, closer to the pressure roller or further away from it will.
During operation: The rollers 1 and 2 are rotated manually or mechanically in the direction of the arrows P. When dough is introduced between the rollers, this dough is taken along by the rollers, a permanent layer of dough being formed on the surface of the roller 1, the moldings being formed on the outside by the molding roller. As soon as it emerges from the forming roller, the molded product formed in high relief on the dough shell is cut off by the knife 3, the cut part of the molded product being supported by the inclined knife 3 immediately after the cutting off.
The molding, which is finally completely cut off, is continuously carried by the knife and slides along it downwards and onto the conveyor belt 4 in order to then reach a baking plate. During and after cutting, the molding is therefore continuously supported, so that there is no risk of deformation, damage or bending over.
So that when using the reciprocating knife 3. the cut briquettes slide down in the correct direction along the moving knife, the space on the support side of the knife is divided into channels by guide walls 24, along which the briquettes are move down. These guide walls 224 can be fixed or adjustable bar attached to the machine frame.
With a machine set up in this way, even the firmest types of dough can be processed successfully, without the use of the previously indispensable feed roller. It has. It was also found that a machine formed in this way from feln the dough for syrup wafers and marzipan, that is, masses that could not be treated by machine, brings the desired shape in an impeccable manner.
