Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 154559. Reflektor.
Additional patent to main patent No. 154559. Reflector. The present invention relates to a further embodiment of the reflector according to: the patent claim of the main patents, namely the further training consists in @that, between the two, .the spherical surfaces axially limiting planes perpendicular to the optical axis, a rotary body is arranged whose axis coincides with the optical axis.
In the embodiment: the main patent, the reflector has the shape of two unequal large plano-convex glass bodies, of which the smaller one in front serves as a converging lens, while the rear larger one has a reflective coating on its surface. The planes which axially delimit the spherical surfaces and which are perpendicular to the optical axis coincide with this reflector.
It has now been found that for perpendicular light, this reflector shown in the drawing of the main patent throws back less light than the reflector according to the invention. In the drawing, several Ausfüh approximate examples .des the subject of the invention are shown, namely show: Fig. 1 and 2 a front view and a side view of the first example, Fig. 3 the beam path in this case, Fig. 4. A side view of the second example , and Fig. 5 is a side view of the third example.
The example shown in Fig. 1 and 2 has a hemisphere a at the front and a spherical section b at the rear, the spherical surface: of the part a having a smaller half meter than that of the part b.
Between the two planes, which axially delimit the spherical surfaces of the reflector and are perpendicular to the optical axis, there is a cylinder, whose axis coincides with the optical axis and whose front face protrudes beyond part a, so that a ring surface serving as a stop is created which, when the reflector is installed, lies against it in a metal sheet d. The rear spherical surface is provided with a reflective coating.
M is the center point of part .a and I11 'is the center point of part b. Because the focal point F is behind the spherical surface. of part b is, so is from a headlight L almost parallel to incoming light on the reflective coating at B (Fig. 3) reflected and thrown back through the image point B of the focal point F with weak scattering towards the starting point.
In both the embodiment shown in Fig. 4, the focal point F is on the hemispherical surface of the larger lens part. M is the center of the front hemisphere, M 'is the center of the rear hemisphere, which has a reflective coating, and the distance 111-11I' is equal to the thickness of the cylinder e, which is axially between the two spherical surfaces of the reflector Limiting, perpendicular to the optical axis are the planes which also limit parts a and b.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 5, part a is connected to the rear, spherical segment-shaped part 6 by means of a rotational body f. The surface of the spherical segment b is thereby moved back so far that the image point F lies within the lens. This creates a weak collection of light rays. Part b has a reflective coating at the rear.
