Arrangement for the operational division of telephone cables with trunk and phantom operation in telephone exchanges. The routing of the long-distance cables ending in telephone offices with trunk and 1'hantombbetrieb happened so far in the following way: The leading long-distance cables ended either directly or via a connected distribution cable in a BEZW. Several terminations that are attached to the so-called cable distributor.
At this point, the individual lines are divided into groups depending on their intended use (lines with or without subordinate telegraphy, reinforced lines, unreinforced lines that continue running, etc.). The telephone lines led into the office then ran from the cable distributor to an additional ring transformer frame on which the lines were terminated with high voltage protection. At this point, the phantom circles were also formed by tapping the middle of the ring transformer on the line side.
The phantom lines formed in this way were now routed back to the cable distributor in order to carry out the operational division there in the same way as for the trunk lines. From this cable distributor the phantom lines were then routed again to the ring transformer additional frame, where the phantom lines were in turn terminated with high voltage-safe ring transformers. In addition to the disadvantage of a considerable expense in terms of lines, such a line routing also has the further disadvantage that the risk of crosstalk is increased.
According to the innovation, the central arrangement of the split trunk and phantom lines during operation is dispensed with and a special distributor for the phantom lines is attached to the ring transformer additional frame. The ring transmitters for the phantom lines are on the same frame, so that an extremely simple and overlooked line routing is possible without additional risk of crosstalk.
In order to be able to connect the phantom lines with the lines already divided on the cable distributor in exceptional cases, it is advisable to provide special additional lines between the phantom distributor in the additional frame and the cable distributor.
The drawing shows an example of an embodiment of a ring transmitter additional frame in front and side views. On the support frame 1 are in the upper department, the front side line extensions 2 and on the back ring transformer 5, both for! The trunk lines. In the same way there are in the lower department on the front, derseite line extensions 3 and on the back ring transmitter G for the phantom lines, while the phantom distributor 4 is arranged between the two departments.
