Description
Chassis für Fahrzeuge, insbesondere für Automobile. Gregenstand der Erfindung ist ein Fahr zeug-Chassis, speziell für Automobile.
Die Erfindung ermöglicht den Bau eines gegen Verdrehung aus seiner Ebene besonders widerstandsfähigen Chassis. Ein möglichst torsionsfreies, starres Chassis ist die erste Be dingung für eine lange Lebensdauer und Ge räuschlosigkeit jeder Auto-Karosserie.
Die erwähnte Torsionsfestigkeit eines Chas sis wird erreicht, indem dasselbe die Form eines ganz geschlossenen Rahmens erhält, und indem der Querschnitt der Rahmenteile, welche zweckmässigerweise nahtlos, oder deren Nähte geschweisst oder genietet sind, ebenfalls je eine geschlossene Figur bildet.
Auf der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungs beispiel schematisch dargestellt, und zwar zeigt Fig. 1 den Grundriss eines allseitig ge schlossenen Chassis a, das durch Querteile b versteift ist. Fig. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 zeigen ver schiedene mögliche Querschnitte durch die Rahmenteile.
Das Chassis kann ausser dem Rahmen als Hauptteil an diesem noch freitragende Teile als Federstützen besitzen.

In the drawing, an execution example is shown schematically, namely Fig. 1 shows the floor plan of an all-round closed chassis a, which is stiffened by cross members b. Fig. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 show ver different possible cross-sections through the frame parts.
In addition to the frame as the main part, the chassis can still have cantilevered parts as spring supports.
