Federlose Braehbandpelotte.
Springless braehband pad. The invention relates to a springless truss pad and consists in the fact that the pad head has a pin which consists at least at its head end of flexible material and can be screwed into the pad shield so that it can both be adjusted and replaced.
Compared to pads with a pad head under the action of a spring, the subject of the invention is characterized by its simpler construction and handling, the ease with which the pad head pin can be exchanged and the soft and gentler pressure effect.
The drawing shows several exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention, and shows: FIG. 1 a first pad in cross section, FIG. 2 another embodiment of the same, FIGS. 3 and 4 each a different embodiment of the pad head pin. The pad head has a pin a, which is at least at its head end b made of flexible material, in particular rubber, be. The pin head end b consists, for example, of soft rubber with a veneer c, which allows the head to yield both in the axial direction and in all directions.
The remaining part of the pad head pin can be made of non-nachgie bigem material, for example made of metal, wood or hard rubber, with which the flexible head part b is connected in a suitable manner, for example vulcanized or plugged on. It can also consist of the entire pelottes head pin a of less flexible material than soft rubber, for example solid rubber, and the head end b with respect to the rest of the part by a cut groove d (see FIG. 3) more flexible and to the sides designed to be flexible.
The pad spigot can be screwed into the pad shell p . The thread (k irr Fig. 4) of the pad pin can be located directly on the pad head pin a, the latter having a rimmed handle 7n for screwing in, or the pad pin is inserted into a screw sleeve ( see Fig. 2 and 3)
or screwed in (see Fig. 1) and in both cases screwed into the pad shield p a by means of this screw sleeve. According to Fig. 1, the screw sleeve e has a round thread and a gerän-derten handle f for screwing in by hand, and the pad shield p is advantageously made of aluminum or other suitable metal and designed to correspond to an inwardly directed Fübrungsbülse g with the round thread .
According to FIG. 2, the insertion opening of the pad shield is reinforced by a supplement h in order to gain sufficient threads for screwing in the pad head pin, and the screw sleeve i has a sharp thread. Otherwise, the pad is padded with a flexible material, such as sponge rubber or the like, and covered with rubber material, leather or the like.
