Description

  

  Procédé de fabrication d'un colorant de la série de     l'anthraquinone.       La présente invention est relative à un  procédé de fabrication d'un colorant de la  série de     l'anthraquinone,    selon lequel on fait  fondre un mélange de     benzanthrone    et d'a  cide     o-chlorobenzoïque    en présence d'un alcali,  et on     chauffe    avec de l'acide sulfurique con  centré le produit ainsi obtenu, qui est soluble  dans l'alcali.  



  Le produit semble être une     dibenzopy-          rénequinone.    Sous forme de poudre, il est  d'une couleur orange et se dissout dans  l'acide sulfurique en donnant une solution  rouge violet; il teint le coton en tons jaune  orange à l'aide d'une cuve     d'hydrosulfite     alcaline.  



  Comme alcali, on peut employer l'hydrate  de potassium, et après le chauffage avec  l'acide sulfurique, on peut soumettre les pro  duits à un blanchiment à l'alcali.  



  L'exemple suivant donne une forme de  réalisation du procédé et dans lequel les  parties sont en poids.    <I>Exemple:</I>  On mélange intimement 90 parties     d'o-          chlorobenzoate    de sodium, 115 parties de       benzanthrone    et 28 parties d'hydrate de po  tassium, et ou les chauffe à 180-200 0 en  viron en agitant pendant deux heures. On  laisse refroidir le mélange, on le pulvérise,  l'extrait par l'eau, et on filtre. On acidifie  le filtrat et sépare par filtration, lave et sèche  le précipité ainsi obtenu. Le produit est vert  et se dissout dans l'alcali donnant une solu  tion rouge avec fluorescence verte intense.  



  On fait ensuite dissoudre une partie de  ce produit dans environ 10 parties d'acide  sulfurique concentré et on     chauffe    la solution  à 120 0 pendant 30 minutes. Après chauffage,  on refroidit la solution et on la verse sur  de la glace. On filtre, on lave et on agite  pendant deux heures avec une solution de       blanchiment    à     environ    8     %.        Ensuite        on        filtre     et on lave et on obtient ainsi une poudre  orange qui se dissout dans l'acide sulfurique      en donnant une solution rouge violet et qui  teint le coton en tons jaune à orange à l'aide  d'une cuve     d'hydrosulfite    rouge alcaline.

  The following example gives an embodiment of the process and in which the parts are by weight. <I> Example: </I> 90 parts of sodium o-chlorobenzoate, 115 parts of benzanthrone and 28 parts of potassium hydrate are intimately mixed, and or heated to about 180-200 0 while stirring for two o'clock. The mixture is allowed to cool, it is pulverized, extracted with water, and filtered. The filtrate is acidified and the precipitate thus obtained is separated by filtration, washed and dried. The product is green and dissolves in alkali giving a red solution with intense green fluorescence.



  One part of this product is then dissolved in about 10 parts of concentrated sulfuric acid and the solution is heated at 120 ° C. for 30 minutes. After heating, the solution is cooled and poured onto ice. Filter, wash and stir for two hours with about 8% bleach solution. Then filtered and washed and an orange powder is thus obtained which dissolves in sulfuric acid giving a red-violet solution and which dyes the cotton in yellow to orange tones using a vat of alkaline red hydrosulphite. .
