Device for guiding oil from the evaporator into the compressor of refrigerating machines. The invention relates to a device for returning oil from the evaporator to the compressor of refrigerating machines according to the claim of the main patent in which the space held at lower pressure than the evaporator, to which the oil return line of the oil collector is connected, is ausgebil det as a suction chamber of an injector .
The invention consists in that the injector is provided with means for changing the flow cross-section of the inlet nozzle, for the purpose of changing the flow cross-section, the kinetic energy of the steam in the inlet nozzle, and thus the suction intensity of the injector for the various operating states of the machine to be able to adapt.
The injector can be provided with a tapered needles which can be moved back and forth in the direction of the nozzle axis and which is advantageously set automatically by a movable member that is under the influence of the inlet pressure of the inlet nozzle. The organ that automatically adjusts the needle is best arranged on a membrane in such a way that it is influenced not only by the inlet pressure but also by the atmospheric pressure. In addition, the organ is expediently connected to an adjustable spring in such a way that it can also be influenced by hand.
The arrangement can also be made such that the organ is also exposed to the influence of the condenser pressure or the outlet pressure of the inlet nozzle. Finally, the organ that sets the needle can be set automatically by a thermostat below the evaporator.
On the drawing some Ausfüh approximately examples of the subject invention are shown in section.
In Fig. 1, a is the inflow nozzle, b the mixing nozzle, c the steam supply line, d the oil supply line, e the line leading to the compressor and f the housing of an injector operated with refrigerant steam to return of oil from the evaporator into the compressor of a compression refrigeration machine, not shown any further.
When such a machine is put into operation, the pressure in the evaporator is usually high at first, the sucked in steam is heavy as a result and the suction weight of the compressor is high, so that the kinetic energy of the steam in the inlet nozzle is used for oil delivery completely sufficient.
After some operating time, the evaporator pressure drops, the sucked in steam becomes lighter, the suction weight of the compressor decreases and the kinetic energy of the steam in the inlet nozzle decreases, so that it is often no longer sufficient for pumping oil.
In order to eliminate this inconvenience, a needle g, which tapers conically in the direction of flow, is arranged in the inlet nozzle, which is connected by a seal to the housing through the membrane 76, on the one hand under the inlet pressure of the inlet nozzle and on the other hand under atmospheric pressure and the pressure of the spring i standing, movable piston is influenced in such a way that
that it moves downwards with decreasing inlet pressure and thus increases the kinetic energy of the steam passing through it to a level required for proper suction of the oil by changing the flow cross-section of the inlet nozzle. The spring i can be tensioned by hand at any time by a screw-shaped tensioning device l to the required level.
In the embodiment of Figure 2, the piston k is influenced by the spring in on its upper side of the movable piston p, which is sealingly connected through the membrane n to the condenser pressure line o, so that the kinetic energy in the The inlet nozzle is also increased if the degree of delivery of the compressor has deteriorated as a result of a high condenser pressure.
With the help of the vertical nipple q it is also possible here to set the correct setting to the spring m by hand. In Fig. 3, the top of the piston k respectively. the interior of the membrane h is brought through the line r to the pressure prevailing behind the inlet nozzle and the adjustment of the spring i is done by hand by a screw l passed through the stuffing box s, which is also done by a Union nut t is sealed to the outside.
This ensures that the increase in pressure as a result of the decrease in kinetic energy in the inlet nozzle behind the nozzle k the piston k respectively. the needle k moves downwards, thus increasing the kinetic energy in the nozzle to the required level again.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 4, finally, the needle g is influenced as a function of the temperature of the evaporator by a not shown thermostat, which is via the line 2t, the membrane v, the piston to </ I > and the linkage x acts on the needle in the intended sense.
