Montre-bracelet. L'objet de l'invention est une montre- bracelet.
Le fermoir de cette montre-bracelet, comme celui d'autres montres-bracelets con nues, comporte au moins deux organes arti culés bout à bout l'un sur l'autre et reliés aux deux extrémités du lien, de façon qu'on puisse faire varier la longueur de ce dernier en; les repliant l'un sur l'autre ou en les dépliant. Mais la montre-bracelet selon l'in vention se distingue des autres par le fait que la montre est combinée avec le fermoir à. l'un des organes duquel elle appartient.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de la mon tre-bracelet selon l'invention.
La fig.1 en est une coupe longitudinale axiale; La fig. 2- en est une coupe transversale suivant la ligne II-II-de la fig. 1; La fig.3 en est une élévation latérale partielle. Le fermoir de la forme d'exécution re présentée se compose de trois organes a, L, <I>c.</I>
L'organe a a la forme d'une augette dont le fond est légèrement incurvé et dont l'une des extrémités d est ouverte. Ses parois laté rales e présentent des trous f destinés à rece voir deux ;à deux les bouts d'une barrette g so lidaire de l'une des extrémités du lien h de la montre-bracelet; en faisant passer la bar rette g dans des trous différents, on règle la longueur du lieu à la position d'ouverture. Ces mêmes parois e sont munies à l'extrémité ouverte<I>d</I> de l'organe<I>a</I> de deux petites saillies extérieures i dont le but sera indiqué plus loin.
L'organe b comporte une plaque rectan gulaire j légèrement incurvée, ayant une lar geur égale à la largeur extérieure de l'organe a, et portant un cadre rectangulaire j1 de même largeur, mais de longueur plus faible. Le cadre f porte à son tour un cadre rec tangulaire k constituant la carrure de la montre, muni d'une glace non représentée. et renfermant un cercle 1 où le mouvement de la montre sera logé. La largeur de la car rure est égale à celle du cadre f et de la plaque j.
Enfin le troisième organe, c, à la forme d'un cadre formant le décor de la boîte de montre. Ses parois latérales m ont la forme d'un hexagone irrégulier dont l'un des côtés est incurvé, tandis que les autres, de lon gueurs inégales, sont rectilignes et se ter minent par des biseaux n; ses parois trans versales o ont une inclinaison correspondant à celle des côtés p des parois latérales. L'ou verture q du cadre a des dimensions corres pondant exactement à celles du cadre<I>le.</I> Des logements intérieurs sont ménagés dans les parois m à l'extrémité gauche pour recevoir les saillies i et maintenir le fermoir à la posi tion de fermeture.
Les trois organes a, b, c sont articulés les uns sur les autres en r, s, et c est relié en<I>t,</I> au lien h, par articulation 2c égale ment.
Pour mettre la montre-bracelet en place, on dégage les saillies i des logements des parois na, ce qui est possible grâce à l'élasti cité de ces dernières, puis on fait pivoter les organes a, b, c les uns par rapport aux autres comme la fig. 3 le montre. De cette façon on allonge suffisamment le bracelet pour qu'on puisse le faire passer par-dessus la main et l'amener jusqu'au poignet.
Une fois ceci effectué, on les fait pivoter les uns par rapport aux autres en sens inverse du mou vement précédent: l'organe b vient se placer sur l'organe<I>a,</I> les deux organes<I>a,</I> b se logent entièrement dans l'organe c et la mon tre apparaît dans l'ouverture q de ce dernier; les saillies i., passant de force entre les pa rois m de c arrivent dans les logements et maintiennent tous les organes à la position de fermeture; le raccourcissement du bracelet le maintient en place sur le poignet.
La combinaison du fermoir avec la mon tre dispense d'avoir- un fermoir distinct de celle-ci et donne une apparence nouvelle à la montre-bracelet. Le fermoir et la montre peuvent présen ter une décoration. Leur forme peut varier. Le lien peut différer de celui qui est repré senté.
Wristwatch. The object of the invention is a wristwatch.
The clasp of this wristwatch, like that of other known wristwatches, comprises at least two parts articulated end to end one on the other and connected at both ends of the link, so that one can vary the length of the latter by; folding them over or unfolding them. But the wristwatch according to the invention differs from the others by the fact that the watch is combined with the clasp. one of the organs to which it belongs.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the watch bracelet according to the invention.
Fig.1 is an axial longitudinal section; Fig. 2- is a cross section along the line II-II-of FIG. 1; Fig.3 is a partial side elevation. The clasp of the embodiment shown consists of three parts a, L, <I> c. </I>
The organ has the shape of a trough, the bottom of which is slightly curved and one of the ends of which is open. Its side walls e have holes f intended to receive two: two the ends of a bar g solidary of one end of the link h of the wristwatch; by passing the bar rette g through different holes, the length of the place is adjusted to the open position. These same walls e are provided at the open end <I> d </I> of the member <I> a </I> with two small external projections i, the purpose of which will be indicated below.
The organ b comprises a rectangular plate j slightly curved, having a width equal to the outer width of the organ a, and carrying a rectangular frame j1 of the same width, but of shorter length. The frame f in turn carries a tangular rec frame k constituting the middle part of the watch, provided with a crystal, not shown. and enclosing a circle 1 where the movement of the watch will be housed. The width of the square is equal to that of the frame f and the plate j.
Finally the third organ, c, in the form of a frame forming the decoration of the watch case. Its side walls m have the shape of an irregular hexagon, one of the sides of which is curved, while the others, of unequal length, are rectilinear and end in bevels n; its transverse walls o have an inclination corresponding to that of the sides p of the side walls. The opening q of the frame has dimensions corresponding exactly to those of the frame <I> le. </I> Interior housings are provided in the walls m at the left end to receive the projections i and keep the clasp at the closed position.
The three organs a, b, c are articulated on each other in r, s, and c is connected in <I> t, </I> to the link h, by articulation 2c also.
To put the wristwatch in place, the protrusions i are released from the housings of the walls na, which is possible thanks to the elasticity of the latter, then the members a, b, c are pivoted with respect to each other. others like fig. 3 shows it. This way we lengthen the bracelet enough so that we can pass it over the hand and bring it up to the wrist.
Once this has been done, they are rotated with respect to each other in the opposite direction to the previous movement: the organ b is placed on the organ <I> a, </I> the two organs <I> a , </I> b are entirely housed in organ c and the watch appears in the opening q of the latter; the projections i., passing by force between the walls m of c, arrive in the housings and keep all the components in the closed position; the shortening of the strap keeps it in place on the wrist.
The combination of the clasp with the watch dispenses with the need for a clasp distinct from it and gives a new appearance to the wristwatch. The clasp and the watch may be decorated. Their shape may vary. The link may differ from the one shown.
