Description
Process for the production of a briquette used for firing. When lighting stoves, it is felt to be impractical that you need special, easily combustible materials such as paper and wood. It has already been suggested that lighting agents were not satisfactory in practice, either they were flammable or did not burn well after prolonged storage, and among other things they were too expensive.
The present invention now relates to a method for producing a briquette which is used for firing. After this, dried sawdust is soaked in gasoline and the whole is bound with pitch. Those made of sawdust; Gasoline and pitch formed mass can be net angeord on a serving as a core coal dust briquette body.
Example: You dry sawdust thoroughly and soak it with gasoline in such a way that it does not drip. This mixture is added to the pitch or tar pitch brought into a liquid state.
The quantity of pitch or tar is around a third of the sawdust. The whole thing is then left to dry with a special shape. The mixture can also be applied to a briquette made of coal dust and then allowed to dry so that the latter forms the core of the firing briquette. The wall thickness of the actual firing briquette is, for example, around 4 to 8 mm.
Petrol can also be added to the petrol to make it cheaper.
A briquette made according to the present process ignites very quickly. without needing any special lighting material as a match. This makes lighting up stoves much easier. If the fire briquette is exposed to the sun or moisture, there are no adverse side effects.
