Parking and braking device on ailment chairs. The present invention relates to an Ab alternate and braking device on looms to stop the drawer before the sheet stop.
Practical tests and scientific investigations, which were carried out in particular with a specially built apparatus for graphical determination of the braking course, have shown that with the usual, spring-loaded drop brakes a considerable loss of time or. there is a relatively long delay in action from the moment it is triggered until the braking effect occurs as a result of the play that is necessarily present for the brake release. The brake levers of the usual drop brakes are also comparatively long and heavy, their movement in free fall is not sufficiently rapid, and their large mass is unfavorable for greater acceleration by a spring tension.
The application of correspondingly large spring tensions would have the consequence that at the same time the braking force would be excessively large, which would bring about a rapid shutdown, but under extremely high stress on the loom.
The above-mentioned inconveniences are now remedied in the braking device according to the inven tion by a from Keafaden-. Weft thread, weft bobbin or shooter guard actuated release device, wel che acts on a horizontally ge superimposed transmission shaft on the loom, on one end of which a ratchet lever. Pawl is attached, which the latter carries the brake lever in an engaged state and by means of a connecting lever causes the support of the clutch lever, so that when triggered, both the brake lever and the clutch lever are released simultaneously.
Thanks to this arrangement, with the onset of the braking effect, the clutch is relieved and disengaged at the same time and just as quickly. As a result, the flywheel to be braked is reduced by the significant amount of the mass of the drive organs and the motor, as a result, the drive shaft and the brake is less stressed and also an earlier stop of the loading is achieved. In addition, a favorable value can be obtained for the ratio between the braking force and the force required for a rapidly occurring braking effect.
The brake lever can be kept short and light, so that the spring force to be applied for acceleration and braking is correspondingly low. 0 Due to the rapid onset of the braking effect, the time available from the moment of release to standstill is used much better, and as a result, the shop standstill can be achieved much earlier than before with the least amount of stress on the moving parts and the brake. The even, so-to-speak soft braking process is also of great advantage for the tissue produced, since no changes are caused in the warp or the tissue thanks to the avoidance of vibrations.
An embodiment of the invention object is shown in the drawing, namely: FIG. 1 shows a side view of a loom with the device, and FIG. 2 shows a front view of the latter; Fig. 3 and 4 show in larger.
Scale rod part of the storage device in two different positions, and Figures 5 and 6 show another part of the storage device also in two different positions ver; Fig. 7 shows a detail thereof; FIG. 8 shows the brake actuation lever in a view, and FIG. 9 shows a schematic plan view of the same in two different positions I and II.
In the drawing, only those parts of the device that are absolutely necessary to understand the invention are shown and all other parts of the loom are omitted. On the sley 1 there is a push-off device 2 which is controlled, for example, by the warp thread, weft thread, weft bobbin or shooter guard, which actuates the release lever i located opposite him in the event of a thread break, almost empty thread bobbin or incorrect position of the shooter in the box ,
by pushing it forward in the sense of moving the ark forward. The release lever 3 is mounted on an angle lever 4, namely on the downwardly extending arm of the same, while at the end of the laterally projecting angle lever arm a connecting rod 5 is articulated. The connecting rod 5 is passed through the joint head 14 of a switching flange 16 fastened on the hollow transmission shaft 6 and engages this joint head under the mediation of a helical spring 15 surrounding it. A link 7 acts on the release lever 3, the free end of which swings around a stationary pin 8.
On the pin 8 a pawl 10 is also rotatably mounted on which the peg 9 designed as a detent is supported, the pawl being pulled by a tension spring 1.1 anchored at one end to the bearing with its upper end against a stop on the bearing. A tension spring 12, anchored to the bearing at one end on the release lever: at the other end, tries to pivot the release lever 3 upwards; in order to enable this pivoting movement to take place, the pin 8 engages in a longitudinal slot of the link 7 suspended from it.
In addition, a cam 13 is arranged on the drawer, which is in alignment with the handlebar 7 and the front edge of which is beveled in such a way that it is in the position shown in dashed lines when it hits the position (Fig. 3) pushed handlebar 7 pushes the same back down. At the rear earth of the horizontally mounted hollow shaft 6 st the-ratchet lever 17 with the pawl 18 be fastened. In the vicinity of the rear end of the hollow shaft 6, the band brake B is net angeord, the brake lever 19 is supported in the engaged state on the pawl 18 (Fig. 5).
Behind the pawl 18 on the machine frame as an angle lever ausgebil deter connecting lever 20 is mounted, one of which, laterally protruding arm is also supported on the pawl 1.8, while a connecting rod 21 to the clutch lever 22 engages on his other, upstanding arm. The clutch lever is arranged in the usual way and is subject to the pressure of a helical spring 23. On the connecting rod 2.1 sit two adjusting rings 21 ', on which move the lever 17 and 17 respectively. the pawl 18 acts.
Furthermore, a lever .24 is attached to the hollow shaft, through which the release of the storage device when the chair is set by the setter and buffer device occurs as soon as the setter hits the buffer device if the shooter is incorrectly positioned in the box.
For switching on and off the loom from. The lever 2.5 (Fig. 8 and 9), which is connected to the switching flange 16 and to the brake ventilation flange 216 with a certain degree of freedom of movement, is used by hand, by applying to the same with play . The ventilation flange 26 with the lever 26 'is fastened on the brake shaft 27 BE, on the rear end of which the lever 28 is attached. The latter is articulated with a connecting lever 2-9, wel cher in turn is articulated on the ventilation lever 30 on.
One end of the bearing of the ventilation lever 30 and the other end of the lever 28 to cross spring 31 is used to return the parts 216, 57, 2.8, 2.9, 3.0 and the switching lever 25 in the zero position when you release the handle of the Shift lever, which is held in its position by the stop -3'2 and the tension spring 33. Switching off the loom by hand is effected by further pivoting the switch lever 2; 5 to the left.
To support the brake lever when the brake is released while the loom is at a standstill, a pawl 34 is freely placed on the shaft 27, which is under the pulling action of the spring 3.5 anchored at one end on the machine frame (FIG. 5). The pawl 34 has a nose 34 'on which the pawl lever 17 strikes when the chair is switched on, so that the pawl is pushed back, whereupon the operating pawl takes over the support in the manner already mentioned.
On the switching flange 16 there is a sliding roller 316, through which the regulator reversal and, if necessary, the motor control box is operated in the usual way by means of a lifting cam and a return spring.
The operation of the device described is as follows: From the drawer 1, the release lever 3 is pushed forward in the sense of the forward movement of the drawer in the event of a thread breakage or almost empty spools or un correct position of the shooter in the box. This movement is transmitted through the angle lever 4 and the connecting rod 5 to the hollow shaft 6.
As a result of the rigid connection of the release lever 3 through the handlebar 7 with the stationary pin 8, in the arrangement shown, the former is deflected upwards during the forward movement for a long time (Fig. 3) and after a short forward movement of the drawer comes out of the area of the push-off device 2 so that the drawer can move on unhindered by pulling the lever .3 upwards by the spring 12 by the length of the slot in the handlebar 7.
With the forward movement of the release lever 3 ', the pin 9 supported on the pawl 10 comes out of engagement with the latter so that the release lever can execute the pivoting movement.
If the loom is switched on again by hand, the angle lever 4, together with the connecting rod 5 and the other switching elements, assumes the operational position, while the release lever 3 remains pivoted up. During the first forward movement of the loading, the triggering device remains ineffective, so that in the event that, for example, the first BEZW. the last entry would not be under the weft thread feeler, the chair would not put down.
With the first Vorwärtsbewe supply of the drawer, however, the handlebar 7 is depressed by the cam 13 attached to the drawer in the front dead point (FIG. 4), the pawl 10 latches on your pin 9 and holds the release lever 3 again in the normal operating position . The positions of the angle lever 4 and the release lever 3 in the switched-off state prevent the peg 9 from latching when the drawer is moved by hand, so that the loom can be rotated unhindered.
During the release process caused by the drawer, the movement of the connecting rod 5 is transmitted via the joint head 14 by means of the spring 15 to the switching flange 16 and from there to the hollow shaft 6, and this acts through mediation (r of the ratchet lever 17 and the pawl 18 on the braking mechanism (Fig. 5).
At the same time the connecting rod 21 is BEZW by the latch lever 17. the pawl 18, which acts on the adjusting rings 21 ', moved and thereby the clutch lever 22 is actuated. On the buffer device, against which the .Stecher strikes if the shooter is in the wrong position in the box, a bolt 37 is seated, which runs onto the inclined contact surface of the lever 24 and thereby triggers the Ab setting device when the chair is parked by the piercer - And buffer device acts.
The chair is switched on and off by hand by actuating the lever 25 (FIGS. 8 and 9). If this is pivoted to the right, for example, the two flanges 1, 6 and 26 are rotated together at the same time. As a result, the brake is released from the shaft 27, the clutch is engaged from the hollow shaft 6 and supported on the pawl 18. When you let go of the handle, the ventilation organs 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and the switching lever 25 brought back by the spring 31 in the zero position and in this by the stop 32 and the spring 33 on- The switch off by hand ge happens by pivoting the lever 25 to the left.
To release the brake at a standstill, the lever 26 'is rotated to the right, where 26-30 are operated independently of the other organs by the ventilation elements. The brake lever is supported by the pawl 34 (FIG. 6) under the pulling action of the spring 35. After the release, the organs 26 to 30 are also pulled back into the neutral position by the spring 31. The rest pawl 34 is with the nose. 34 ', through which it is pushed back by the latch lever 17 when the chair is switched on.
The brake lever 19 falls from the rest pawl 34 onto the release lever 3 (1 or is brought by the same to the somewhat longer operating pawl 18, which now again takes over the support in the manner already mentioned.
From the sliding roller 36 on the switching flange 16, the regulator is then driven in the usual way by means of a lifting cam and a return spring and, if required, the motor switch box is also actuated.
The described device has the following advantages over the previously known release devices: The deflection of the release lever is continuous and bump-free at the same time as the backward movement. By moving the bolts 8 or 9, the duration of engagement of the pusher 2 and the release lever 3 can be regulated in a simple manner, and the impact surfaces can also be selected in the required size; to keep the wing loading within the practically permissible limits.
The entire structure of the device is except neatly simple, and there are not, as with other known devices, additional Liche organs required to allow the stop of the first entry without the shutdown comes into effect, and to avoid that when Turning by hand the brake is released.
Thanks to the spring 15, there is a soft, damped transmission of the shock effect from the organs involved in the shock to the release organs. Here at the margin in the connection of the switch lever 25 with the flanges 16 and 26 and the return of the ventilation organs by the spring 31. The advantage that when triggered from the drawer these organs are not affected by the rapid movement and not here act as harmful air resistance. In addition, when the trigger is triggered, there are no quick, dangerous movements due to the forced movement ring or the spring action on the handle.
The spring 15 serves not only as a backup when switching on and as a damping when parking the chair, but also has the purpose of avoiding dangerous blows to the hand of the operator when parking the loom, as long as the same still holds the handle in his hand .
