Fussgelenkbandage. Es sind achterverbandartige Fussgelenk bandagen bekannt, bei der sich zwei Bandteile überkreuzen, wodurch die Bandage an der Kreuzungsstelle stark aufträgt, was beim Tragen unangenehm und bei weiblichen Trägern noch unbeliebt ist. Ausserdem ver rutschen diese Bandagen in nachteiliger Weise.
Diese Nachteile werden durch die den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bil dende Fussgelenkbandage behoben. Dieselbe kennzeichnet sich dadurch, dass sie aus drei Teilen besteht, wovon der Gummibandteil der Bandage, der das Knöchelgelenk und der Gummibandteil, der das Längsgewölbe des Fusses umschliesst, mit einem sechseckigen Mittelstück ohne Überlappung zusammen gestossen sind. Diese Bandage erscheint unter den Strümpfen weniger sichtbar, weil keine kreuzenden Teile vorhanden sind.
Auf der Zeichnung ist eine solche Fuss gelenkbandage in beispielsweiser Ausführung dargestellt, und zwar zeigt Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht derselben im angelegten Zustand, Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht derselben in grösserem Massstab, Fig. 3 eine Vorderansicht hiervon, und Fig. 4 eine Draufsicht.
Die gezeichnete Fussgelenkbandage besteht aus dem Mittelteil a, dem Teil<I>b,</I> der das Knöchelgelenk umschliesst und dem Teil c, der das Längsgewölbe des Fusses umfasst. Die Teile a, <I>b,</I> c, bestehen aus gummielastischem Wirk- oder Webstoff. Der Mittelteil.a kann auch aus unelastischem Material, wie Gewebe oder Leder bestehen. Die Teile a, b, c sind stumpf aneinandergestossen, das heisst ohne Überlappung, und durch entsprechende Nähte d miteinander verbunden.
Die Verbindung der Stossstellen könnte auch auf andere Weise zum Beispiel durch Kleben mit flüssigem Gummi und dergleichen erfolgen. Das aus Gummiband hergestellte Mittelstück a ist sechseckig gestaltet, wobei die Zugrichtung des Gummibandes quer zum Rist lauft. Der Teil c besitzt vorne eine Verlängerung e aus Gummiband. Im mittleren Teil der Verlän gerung e kann ein Polster zur Stützung des Metatarsus angebracht sein. Anstatt der Ver längerung e kann der den Scheitel des Längsgewölbes des Fusses umschliessende Teil vorne mit einem Gummibandstück, das den Metatarsus unten umfasst, zusammengestossen sein.
Die G ummibandteile a, b, c sind in Richtung der in Fig. 1, 2 und 3 gezeigten Schraffier linien, das heisst in Richtung quer zum Fuss dehnbar.

The shown ankle bandage consists of the middle part a, the part <I> b, </I> which encloses the ankle joint and the part c which includes the longitudinal arch of the foot. The parts a, <I> b, </I> c, consist of rubber-elastic active or woven material. The middle part.a can also consist of inelastic material such as fabric or leather. The parts a, b, c are butted against one another, that is to say without overlapping, and are connected to one another by corresponding seams d.
The joints could also be connected in another way, for example by gluing with liquid rubber and the like.
