Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung     eines.neuen        Zellulosederivates.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein neues       Zellulosederivat    erhält, wenn man auf Zellulose  Chlor in Gegenwart von     Cyaniden    einwirken  lässt. Die Reaktion wird zweckmässig in  Gegenwart von     Ätzalkalien    und gegebenen  falls Alkoholen durchgeführt.  



  Das neue Produkt zeichnet sich durch  eine starke     Affinität    zu sauren und basischen  Farbstoffen aus. Dasselbe kann als     Rohstoff     zur     Herstellung    von Textilfasern und andern       Erzeugnissen    verwendet werden. Indessen  wird der Schutz     für    das angegebene Ver  fahren nur soweit beansprucht, als es sich  nicht um eine für die Textilindustrie in Be  tracht kommende Behandlung von Textil  fasern zum Zwecke deren Veredlung handelt.

    <I>Beispiel:</I>  10 Teile Baumwolle, in Form von     Linters,     werden in einer Mischung von je 100     Volum-          teilen    Natronlauge von 38       B6,    Alkohol und  Wasser, welcher noch 65 Teile     Natriumcyanid     zugegeben worden sind, wählend einer halben    Stunde imprägniert, hierauf ausgepresst oder  geschleudert und in auf 0   bis<B>-100</B> abge  kühlten     Tetrachlorkohlenstoff    eingelegt.     11T    an  leitet hierauf so lange Chlor ein, bis dasselbe  nicht mehr aufgenommen wird, was daran  zu erkennen ist, dass der     Tetrachlorkohlenstoff     eine bleibende gelbe Färbung annimmt.

   Das  Material wird hierauf mit kaltem     thiosulfat-          oder        bisulfithaltigem    Wasser und dann mit  reinem Wasser gespült. Nach dem Trocknen  erhält man das neue     Zellulosederivat.

  The new product is characterized by a strong affinity for acidic and basic dyes. It can be used as a raw material for the manufacture of textile fibers and other products. In the meantime, protection for the specified process is only claimed insofar as it does not involve a treatment of textile fibers for the purpose of refining them that is suitable for the textile industry.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Zellulosederivates, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man auf Zellulose Chlor in Gegenwart von Cyaniden einwirken lässt. Das so erhaltene Produkt zeichnet sich durch eine starke Affinität zu sauren und basischen Farbstoffen aus. Dasselbe kann als Rohstoff zur Herstellung von Textilfasern und andern Erzeugnissen verwendet werden.
