Device for the transmission of the drive from a constantly rotating shaft to shafts that are only driven temporarily. The invention relates to a device for transmitting the drive from a constantly rotating shaft to only temporarily driven shafts, in which the force from the constantly rotating shaft from decreasing organ can be coupled to the shaft and aims to simplify the design and avoid storage Exercises at the power transmission point both in the case of power transmission and during so-called idling.
The invention consists in the fact that the transmission element, for example a pulley, is held independently of the rotating shaft when the clutch is switched off, and when the clutch is switched on it is carried by the rotating coupling member.
This ensures that the transmission organ is completely independent of the constantly rotating shaft even without the frequently used hollow shaft. Compared to the known design with hollow shaft he. there is the advantage that the unavoidable bearing friction there is eliminated and the bearings of the hollow shaft are saved. The power transmission takes place, for example, smoothly, and completely smoothly, if a specially designed Reibungskupp treatment is used.
In the drawing, the Invention is explained thanks to the embodiment of a pulley clutch.
1 shows a cross section, FIG. 2 shows a longitudinal section in the coupling position; Fig. 3 shows an end view in the Ausaltstel treatment; FIG. 4 shows a section along the line 4-4 in FIG. 1.
On the constantly rotating shaft 1 sits the hub 2 of the coupling member, which carries a tab 3 on which the clutch segments 4, 5, which are designed in the manner of a shoe brake, are pivotably mounted; these can interact with the inner surface of the belt pulley 6th transmission element. On the hub 2 a sliding sleeve 7 is arranged, on the flange 8 of which a tab 3 'of the hub 2 is attached by an urgent bolt 9, at the forked end of which handlebars 10, 11 engage, which act indirectly on the coupling segments. For this purpose, the control arms attack pistons 12, 13, which are guided in pipe sockets 14, 15 of the segments. The pistons engage with pins 16 in elongated holes in the connecting pieces and carry nuts 17. Coil springs 18 are supported on the one hand against these nuts and on the other hand against a collar of the pipe connections.
The usual thrust ring 19 of the coupling is arranged in a groove in the sliding sleeve 7. The sliding sleeve carries a resilient pawl 20 which can fall behind a collar of the hub 2 via a contact surface and has an inclined surface 21. In an annular gap between the shaft 1 and the hub 22 of the pulley 6 protrudes a sleeve 23 of the bearing body 24 of the shaft 1. To ensure free movement of the segments 4, 5, the contact surfaces of the pistons 12, 13 with the Len core 10, 11 and the holes for the bolts connecting them to pass through are designed as rolling surfaces.
When the clutch is switched off (FIG. 3), the hub 22 of the pulley 6 rests loosely on the sleeve 23, that is to say it is freely suspended, so to speak, so that no friction whatsoever comes into consideration in this idling position. To switch on the clutch, the sleeve 7 is moved by means of the thrust ring 19, where by means of the bolt 9, the handlebars 10, 11 are brought into the extended position and, when the springs 18 are tensioned, the coupling segments are expressed on the pulley. Here at the pulley is lifted from its seat and then only carried by the segments. There is therefore no bearing friction at all, even when the clutch is switched on.
When engaging, the links 10, 11 are moved slightly beyond the extended position, whereupon they are moved further by the counter-pressure of the springs 18 until the sleeve 7 rests on the tab 3. In this way, the clutch position is secured by the spring force and the thrust ring 19 is relieved, so that no friction takes place there either. In the disengaged position, the pawl 20 falls behind the collar of the hub 2, where an unintentional release of the coupling is avoided that could possibly take place as a result of the centrifugal force we kenden on the coupling segments. When the clutch is engaged, enough force is applied to lift the pawl with its inclined surface 21 over the collar.
The suspension respectively. The transmission element can also be supported in the switch-off position independently of the bearing body of the shaft. The invention can also be used analogously with clutches of other types. In addition to the advantages of the subject matter of the invention already mentioned, there is also a reduction in wear on drive belts.
