Description
Dr eifarbenkamera.
Three color camera. Three-color cameras with two light-permeable, simultaneously reflective mirrors provided between Ob jective and mounting plates are known. Glass mirrors are usually used. In order to eliminate the defects caused by the thickness of the glass mirror and the resulting double reflection, three-color cameras have already been equipped with two thin skin mirrors. With such a skin mirror camera, a flawless partial negative can be achieved. However, such skin mirrors cannot be visually silvered in a precisely tunable manner without difficulty.
Tests have now shown that a camera such as that shown in section in the drawing, for example, produces really good three-color images.
In the beam path from the receiving lens 1 to the receiving plates, two translucent mirrors are placed at a suitable angle to the lens axis. The first provided the lens mirror 2 is a thin, stretched on frame skin mirror without coating, the further mirror 3 is a glass mirror provided with mirror metal translucent.
It has been shown that the amount of light reflected by the skin mirror without coating is just sufficient to produce the yellow plate a when a blue filter is switched on. The mirror 3 is provided on its front derfläche with translucent mirror metal, the reflection image of this front surface is thrown to the receiving plate c.
The creation of a reflection image on the back of the mirror 3, which would disturbingly occur in the case of strong light contrasts on the Aufnahrne- plate c as a double image, is prevented by either the mirror 3 made of glass colored in the mass, or that the rear surface with a Filter layer is coated, which is complementary to the light filter of the receiving plate c. The three-color camera described is therefore equipped with only one skin mirror and only one glass mirror.
It has advantages over other known three-color cameras; that the three partial images a., ö, c are completely free of parallax to one another, without distortion errors and without double outlines. As a result of the favorable adaptability of the light distribution to the three partial exposures, the loss of light and therefore also the exposure time is reduced to a minimum.
