Gegenstand dieses Patentes ist ein Ver  fahren zur Darstellung eines sauren     Woll-          farbstoffes,    welches dadurch gekennzeichnet  ist, dass man     4-Nitro-1.8-naphtal-4'-sulfo-          phenylimid    mit einem reduzierenden Mittel  behandelt, welches gleichzeitig den Eintritt  einer     Sulfogruppe    bewirkt.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines sauren Wollfarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 4-Nitro-l.8-naphtäl-4'-sulfophenylimid mit einem reduzierenden Mittel behandelt, welches gleichzeitig den Eintritt einer Sulfo- gruppe bewirkt. Der so erhaltene Farbstoff färbt Wolle aus saurem Bade in sehr klaren gelben Tönen an. UNTERANSPRUCH: Verfahren nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Hydrosulfit als reduzierendes Mittel, welches gleichzeitig den Eintritt einer Sulfogrup,pe bewirkt, verwendet.
