Fig. 1 zeigt einen in den Überlaufkanal eines Waschbeckens eingesetzten Ventilheber. Das -\\raselibeclcen selbst ist hierbei nur teil weise und mit dem Tellerventil im Schnitt gPzeichnet; Tig. Z zeigt im Längsschnitt den Kopf und das untere Gelenkteil des Ventilhebers bei festgestelltem Gelenk; Fig. 3 zeigt zum Teil im Schnitt die glei chen Teile des Ventilhebers in der der Fig. 1 entsprechenden Stellung, bei welcher das festgestellte Gelenk in Seitenansicht veran schaulicht ist;
Die Spindel 9 in im Innern des hohlen Ge- stängeteils 5 zunächst in achsialer und in herausgezogenem Zustand nach Erreichen des durch Schlitz 11 und Bolzen 1 \3 gebi 1- deten Ancclilages auch in Drehrichtung ver stellbar;
Beim Einbringen des Heber- @,estänges haben sich auch die an der Platte 21 zweckdienlich angebrachten Klemmfedern an die innere Wandung des Überlaufkanals # pgedrückt;
Valve gate valve for bathtubs, washbasins and the like with an overflow bent to the knee. The invention relates to a N'Ontil lifter for bathtubs, sinks and the like with a knee-shaped curved overflow channel, which is designed such that it can be removed from the channel at any time for the purpose of cleaning both the valve lifter itself and the overflow channel.
According to the invention, the insertion and removal of the valve lifter is facilitated by the fact that a lifting arm reaching under the drain valve is attached to the lower end of a linkage by means of a joint such that it is in the plane laid by the linkage and the drain valve can be pivoted approximately to the extended position and the joint can be locked even in the knee position of the lifter arm.
The pivoting arrangement of the lifter arm on the linkage means that when the valve lifter is inserted into the overflow channel, the lifter can follow the curvature of the overflow channel, so that it is inevitably transferred from the extended position to the knee position.
For the purpose of fixing the joint in the knee position of the lifting arm, a displaceable pin can be arranged on the linkage, which engages in a cutout provided on the latter when the lifting arm is in the knee position.
This number, which is used to fix the joint, can expediently be formed by a spindle guided inside the lifting rod, which, under its own weight, enters the section of the lifting arm facing it when it is in the knee position. respectively can be inserted into the same.
The spindle which is used to fix the joint can expediently be guided outwards through the handle of the lifting rod, so that the joint connection can be released by lifting the spindle from the outside. As soon as the joint is released, the valve lifter can easily be removed from the overflow channel and can now be easily cleaned.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 shows a valve lifter inserted into the overflow channel of a wash basin. The - \\ raselibeclcen itself is only partially shown here and with the poppet valve in section GP; Tig. Z shows in longitudinal section the head and the lower joint part of the valve lifter with the joint locked; Fig. 3 shows partly in section the same parts of the valve lifter in the position corresponding to FIG. 1, in which the fixed joint is illustrated in side view;
4 shows the lifting rod in partial section with the joint released. The joint which adorns the two main parts of the valve lifter has a clevis nut, which is screwed onto the rod part 5 designed as a tube, and a fork head 1,
to which center of the bolt 3 secured in its position by C washer 6 and split pin 7, the Arin 4 is articulated.
At its end lying within the fork head 1, the arm 4 has a cutout 8 in which, after the valve lifter has been introduced into the overflow channel 21, the lower end of the screwed onto the spindle 9 and controlled by the actuator :; 38 secured in its position, trained as a sleeve 39 pin falls by its own Ge weight, respectively. can be inserted as soon as the arm 4 reaches its final knee position.
The joint 1 is then fixed. The spindle 9 is guided to the outside through the handle 16 of the valve lifter. The screw 10 is turned into its outer end and is designed in such a way that it is easy to grasp and lift the spindle.
In the interior of the hollow rod part 5, the spindle 9 can also be adjusted in the direction of rotation, initially in the axial and in the pulled-out state after reaching the contact formed by the slot 11 and the bolt 1 \ 3;
Has the spindle 9 been pulled out to the stop on the bolt 1? and is now turned, the bolt 1? in di = s a in grooves 41 offset at the bottom of the slot 11 and located at the same height. The spindle 9 is now secured against unintentional falling into the original position when the rod is removed.
The provided in the hollow rod part 5, by means of Seheibe 6 and cotter pin 7 ge secured bolt l. \? serves four different purposes; firstly to limit the spindle stroke, secondly as a safeguard against pulling out the spindle, thirdly as a seat for the spindle when the joint is loosened (i.e. especially for removing the valve lifter) and fourthly as a safeguard against lateral rotation of the lower joint part. ,
for which purpose the bolt 19 is also passed through the sleeve 13 of the upper head part and slides in the slots r (1 of the sleeve 13 open and -, il) when the valve is opened and closed.
The hollow rod part 5 has at its upper end a collar 11 which is received by a corresponding bore in the sleeve 15. In the sleeve 15, the handle 16 is screwed and against unintentional unscrewing by means of a Ma. screw 17 secured. The sleeve 15 is inserted into the sleeve 13 and in the axial direction of the spindle in the latter displaceable bar. It has at its lower end four lugs 18, which 4-? the sleeve 13 engage.
The longitudinal grooves 1-? run into the end 19 of the sleeve 13, which is turned to the depth of the groove, into which the lugs 18 get when the valve lifter rod is lifted, so that by simply turning the handle 16 the entire TT boom rod, which is now in the secured state, is raised Position can be determined. The poppet valve 25 (Fig. 1) attached to the lowest point of the basin is now in the open position.
The lugs 18 of the sleeve 15, each horizontally offset by <B> 90 '</B>, are arranged in a concealed manner and slide in the vertical direction in the correspondingly attached grooves 42 of the jack head jacket 43. Against pulling out and against soiling #, ## In use, the sleeve 15 is protected by the cap 20 screwed onto the jack head jacket 43. If the valve is to be closed, the handle 1.6 is rotated by about 90, the direction of rotation is irrelevant.
The sleeve 15 falls by its own, as well as by the weight of the entire un tern lifting rod, vertically guided through the four grooves, in its lowest position, which bites the valve 25 is now closed.
The jack head jacket 43 respectively. the entire Ileberkopffteil is expediently at the same time the sieve of the overflow channel 24 bil ding plate 21 and inserted through the oil lining 2? and washer 23 attached thereto.
The plate 21 itself is sufficiently firmly connected to the washbasin 3, 3 in any suitable manner, for example by means of a spring clip attached to the plate 21 and clamped in the overflow channel; but without being screwed tightly to the washbasin. The bores 32 shown in FIG. 2 represent overflow slots that are required when the water flow is too strong and the valve is closed.
The appropriately shaped and the valve actuating the lifting arm 4 has at its free end a straight piece 26, wel Ches with a fixed joint in a horizontal position under the angeord designated in the drain pipe 28, serving as a drain sieve and with the valve spindle 27 forming a rigid whole perforated disk 30 comes to lie-l-yen. The nut 29 secures after setting he followed on the at the same time serving as a lower guide, perforated disc 30 and spindle 2 7 screwed valve plate 25 against rotation and Ver position.
The drain pipe 28 is inserted with its edge 34 bent at right angles into a sealing disc 31 and far one of the sealing surface 36 of the valve disk 25 corresponding sealing surface 36 on.
The poppet valve 25 is expediently provided with three projections 37 protruding into the drain pipe 28 and sliding on the inner wall of the same, which serve to guide the valve. The space between these projections and the valve disc pin is expediently left out, which considerably increases the Flow velocity wedge and contributes to faster emptying of the belching.
The onset of the valve lifter is in the following way: First, the joint 1 of the linkage is released by pulling up the spindle 9, so that the lifter arm 4 assumes the position shown in FIG. The spindle 9 is not expediently in its raised position when the lifter is inserted. secured by turning, but rather one lets the spindle sit by its own weight on the part of the lifting arm 4 playing in the joint fork.
Here the rod is guided into the overflow channel, whereby the pivotable lifting arm 1 comes into contact with the knee part of the overflow channel 24 and, as the rod is pushed down further, is gradually transferred into the knee position through the curvature of the overflow channel. In this stel ment, the cutout 8 of the heber arm 4 is located opposite the pin formed as a sleeve 39 of the spindle 9. so that the water under the influx of the weight of the spindle BEZW. enters the cutout 8 by thrust.
The joint is determined and the lifting arm 4 has such a position after hard position of the valve lifter. there he is with his free. straight end? (, horizontally into the drainage pipe 28. The valve assembled from the valve disk 2.'5, the valve spindle 27, the adjusting ring 29 and the sieve ring 30 designed as a central guide is now inserted from the outside into (the drainage pipe 28 and sits in the closed state in the sealing surface 36.
When the lifting rod is introduced, the clamping springs expediently attached to the plate 21 have also pressed against the inner wall of the overflow channel;
A too easy and unintentional pulling out of the valve lifter is thus sufficiently prevented, quite apart from the fact that pulling out the valve lifter rod is only possible after loosening the joint connection between the cx rod and the lifter arm.
The valve is opened by lifting the button handle 16 on the upper part of the sleeve 15; A slight turn of the knob is sufficient to lock the valve in the open position. Since the entire lifting rod is guided and suspended in the sleeve 1-5 and thus all parts of the same when lifting the sleeve (: 75 participate in the lifting movement1 by means of the knob 16, the valve is also lifted with-1.
Both when the structure is raised to open the valve and when it is lowered to close the latter, all parts of the valve structure move in mutually parallel directions.
The valve is closed by a further slight rotation of the knob grip 16, whereby the lugs 18 attached to the sleeve 1.5 in the interior reach the grooves 42 arranged in the interior of the lifter head casing 43 and slide down into the same ge leads. Since the lifting rod must necessarily follow the sliding downward movement when closing, the valve in the drain pipe is now closed. Here, too, all parts of the lifting linkage move in mutually parallel directions.
If the overflow channel 24 is to be cleaned, the joint is released by pulling up the spindle J, whereupon the valve lifter can be removed as a whole from the overflow channel together with the sieve plate 21 firmly connected to it. Before removing the valve lifter, the spindle 9 is expediently secured after lifting up to the stop by turning it slightly in the raised position, since you can use both hands to remove the valve lifter.
To clean the drain pipe 28 and the drainage screen 30 forming a whole with the poppet valve, the valve is conveniently lifted in the open position, before both the drain pipe and the valve itself are thoroughly cleaned.
The reinsertion of the valve in no case presents any difficulty and the insertion of the same can take place both before and after the introduction of the valve lever.
