Grooved rail composed of two parts. In order to prevent the wear and tear of the parts subject to wear to a particularly high degree in the case of grooved rails, it has already been proposed that, in the case of curves, the compulsory lip appeared from one on the actual rail. to form attached to the guide head of the rail forced lip from ver wear-resistant material.
Such constraining lips, made of wear-resistant material, limit the wear and tear of this Zwaligslippe to a large extent, but such rails still have the disadvantage that the fact that the driving head is made of ordinary material means that the driving edge and the driving head are subject to high wear .
For this reason, attempts have already been made to make all the parts of grooved rails that are subject to wear resistant to wear by producing so-called composite rails in which the driving head and leading edge are made of wear-resistant material, while the rest of the head and the The web and the foot of the rails were made from white steel, with these composite rails being rolled out directly from composite blocks.
However, since the production of such a composite seemed very difficult and costly, and since the quality of the welding between the two types of steel is highly dependent on the rolling temperatures, composite rails of this type have so far been used in practice found only minor input.
The invention now relates to a grooved rail composed of two parts, which completely avoids the aforementioned after parts, and in which the parts subject to wear to a particularly high degree are made of wear-resistant material, while the remaining parts of the rail are made of one, for example made of soft steel base profile. The new rail therefore consists of a base profile provided with a head and foot and a rigidly connected part made of wear-resistant material, which forms both a forced lip and a moving handle.
The connection between the basic profile and the part made of wear-resistant material is expediently made by means of Steo screw connections or by welding. In an expedient embodiment of the inven tion, the verselileissfeste part is saddled into a web recess of the base profile; the joint created between the two rail parts in the head is advantageously welded.
The connection of the webs of the two parts is expediently carried out by means of the fastening means for the tie rods, so that apart from these holes required for the tie rod fastening n, no further weakening of the rail webs is necessary.
A particular advantage of the new grooved rail is that the basic profile can be the same in all cases for the most varied of profile designs of a profile height, while differences in the head width, in the grooved and guide rail shape and size, can be achieved through appropriate design the wear-resistant part can be affected.
The main advantage of the new design, however, is that the wear-resistant part forms both the forced lip and the driving edge, so that all parts subject to wear in the straight line and in the curve are made of wear-resistant material, for example made of manganese steel or other high-quality stainless steels, while the basic profile can be made of ordinary soft steel.
The fitting surfaces of the two profiles that are saddled into one another are expediently rolled in the closed caliber - # e #, so that no tolerances are required and the parts are in immovable, fixed engagement with one another.
The drawing shows an example of an embodiment of the nc-uen made up of two parts. It denotes 1 the base profile made of soft steel with a head and foot, into which the part 2 made of wear-resistant material is saddled, which forms both the forced lip and the running edge.
At the head the two # parts 1 and 2 at 4 are connected by welding. The fastening of the parts is done with the screws 3. These can be used as tie rod screws at the same time.
