Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines verkehrssichern und staubfreien Belages für Strassen mit starken Steigungen. Der Patentanspruch des Hauptpatentes kennzeichnet ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines verkehrssicheren und staubfreien Be lages für Strassen mit starken Steigungen, nach welchem auf eine feste Strassenunter lage eine Schicht von mit einem bituminösen e Stoff präpariertem Splitter von der Körnung 0 bis 15 mm aufgetragen, hierauf eine Schicht grober Schotter aus ebenfalls mit einem bitu minösen Stoff präpariertem Hartsteinmaterial, ohne Beimengung von feinem Korn, aufge bracht und fastgewalzt wird.
Als bituminöse Stoffe, welche zum Prä parieren der verwendeten Baumaterialien die nen, sind in ,den P'atentunteransprüchen des Hauptpatentes speziell angeführt: Erdöl bitumen, ein Gemisch von Erdölbitumen und Teer, ferner ein Gemisch von Erdölbitumen und Trinidadasphalt.
Eine weitere Ausführungsform des Ver fahrens ist nun auch diejenige, da.B an Stelle der vorgängig angeführten bituminösen,Stoffe zum Präparieren der verwendeten Baustoffe bituminöse Emulsionen benützt werden, zum Beispiel wie folgt: Auf die feste Strassenunterlage wird vor erst eine Lage Splitt mit Sand von der Kör nung 0 bis 15 mm, welche Materialien mit einem bestimmten Bindemittel, wie zum Bei spiel Bitumenemulsion, präpariert: werden, in einer Schichtstärke von 8 bis 5 cm aufge tragen.
Auf diese Sp.littlage wird alsdann grober, ebenfalls mit einer Bindemittel, wie zum Beispiel Bitumenemulsion, präparierter Hartsteinsthotter, ohne Zusatz von feinem Korn, in. einer Stärke von ungefähr 8 bis 10 cm, aufgebracht und mit mittelschwerer Walze festgewalzt, worauf der Belag sofort dem Verkehr -übergeben werden kann. Als präparierter Hartschotter eignet -sich für diesen Belag besonders solcher aus Granit, Gneis oder hartem Sand- oder Kalkstein.
