  Verfahren zur Durehtränkung von Steinselagwegen. 



   In dem Stammpatent Nr. 117909 ist ein Verfahren zur Durchtränkung von Steinschlagwegen   und-strassen beschrieben, nach welchem   auf einer profiliert gewalzten Steinschlagdecke ein dickflüssiger Mörtel, hergestellt aus einer bituminösen Emulsion und Sand oder anderem feinen Material, ausgebreitet und darin eingewalzt wird und wobei eventuell die angewandte Menge bituminösen Mörtels derart gewählt wird, dass nicht nur der Steinschlag verkittet wird, sondern überdies auf der Wegdecke eine Abnutzungsschicht entsteht. 



   Es hat sich nun ergeben, dass sich bei dem Eintrocknen das Niveau des Mörtels senkt, wodurch die groben Steinstücke der Steinschlagdecke aus dieser hervorragen und auch die   Abnutzungsschieht   Über den Steinstücken eine andere Unterschicht hat als über den Zwischenräumen, wodurch eine ungleichmässige Abnutzung stattfindet. 



   Die vorliegende Erfindung besteht nun darin, dass Unebenheiten in der Abnutzungsschicht dadurch vermieden werden, dass man die durchtränkt Steinschlagdecke mit Spaltbasalt oder ähnlichem Material bedeckt, danach wieder walzt, aufs neue mit einer dünnen Schicht Sandemulsionsmörtel übergiesst und schliesslich wieder mit Spaltbasalt od.   dgl.   abdeckt. 



   Weil dem Steinschlag anklebender Staub, Ton u. dgl. Material die Koagulation der Emulsion in unerwünschtem Masse beschleunigen kann, ist es mitunter vorteilhaft, den für die Wegdecke dienenden Steinschlag, z. B. durch Auswaschen davon zu befreien. Auch kann es vorteilhaft sein, für die Herstellung des bituminösen Mörtels Emulsionen zu benutzen, deren   Koagulationsgeschwindigkeit   durch Zusatz   eiweissartiger   Stoffe od. dgl. verzögert worden ist.
