Machine parlante. La présente invention a. pour objet une machine parlante. Le but visé est d'obtenir une machine d'une construction simple et donnant une bonne .amplification.
La machine comporte un bras acoustique relié avec un conduit acoustique passant sous la planchette portant le moteur et s'ouvrant vers l'arrière de la boite. Elle est caracté risée en ce qu'une partie au moins de la pa roi arrière de la boîte proprement dite de la machine est disposée de manière à pouvoir occuper, pendant le fonctionnement de la machine, une position inclinée vers l'arrière et écartée de la boîte, cette partie présen tant, dans cette position, une surface réflé- ehissa.nte diribeant vers le haut les sons sor tant du conduit acoustique.
Cette machine est particulièrement utili sable comme machine parlante portative. Le dessin annexé en représente, à titre d'exem- rle, une forme d'exécution @du type portatif. Fig. 1 est une coupe verticale de la ma chine selon. 1-1 de fig. 3, le couvercle étant supposé soulevé; Fig. 2 est une vue .latérale, le couvercle étant supposé fermé -ou rabattu; Fig,. 3 est une vue en plan avec coupe partielle suivant 3-3 -de fig. 1.
La machine représentée comprend une boîte comportant une boîte proprement dite 1 et un couvercle 2; le bras acoustique 3 est articulé à un support 4 disposé près de l'un des coins arrière de la planchette 5 portant le moteur 7 et est relié avec un conduit am plificateur 6 passant sous la planchette 5 .et dirigé ensuite vers l'avant du moteur 7 (fig. 3) autour duquel il passe pour venir s'ouvrir vers l'arrière par l'embouchure 8 qui occupe à peu près toute la, surface de la pa roi arrière de la boîte 1.
Les parois arrière de la boîte 1 et du couvercle 2 forment un seul organe 9 qui peut être une pièce de tôle plate. Cette tôle 9, qui forme surface réflé- chissante, est solidaire du couvercle 1 au quel elle peut être fixée par exemple par des vis 10; elle est, d'autre part, articulée à son bord inférieur 11 au bord inférieur ar rière de la boîte 1.
Chaque côté de la partie de la surface réfléchissante qui sert de paroi .arrière pour la boîte 1 quand le .couvercle 2 est fermé, présente un secteur de fermeture 12 perpen diculaire à la surface réfléchissante 9 et pou vant être obtenu, :dans le cas où la surface 9 est en tôle, par simple estampage @de la pièce formant à la fois cette surface 9 et les sec teurs.
Les secteurs 12 sont logés à l'intérieur de la boîte lorsque l'appareil est fermé et se trouvent alors voisins des parois latérales de la boîte 1; à cet effet, ils passent par les fentes étroites 13 ménagées entre les parois latérales -de la boîte 1 et les parois latérales de l'embouchure du conduit amplificateur 6 au-dessous de la planchette 5.
Des rebords étroits 1d disposés sur les bords avant -des secteurs de fermeture 12 peuvent venir au contact des rebords étroits 15 ménagés sur les parois latérales de l'em bouchure du conduit amplificateur de ma. mère à empêcher les secteurs .de sortir com plètement -de la boîte et à limiter ainsi le dé placement -du couvercle 2 et du réflecteur 9, lorsqu'on amène ces organes à leur position d'ouverture.
Lorsque la surface réfléchissante 9 et: le secteur 12 sont dans leur position ouverte, ils forment une embouchure dirigée vers le haut -du conduit amplificateur 6 et les ondes acoustiques sortant .de ce dernier sont rame nées vers l'avant par le couvercle incliné 2 de la. machine. Le couvercle 2 coopère avec la surface 9 et les secteurs 12 pour consti tuer une embouchure du conduit acousti que 6.
La -disposition du couvercle 2, des par ties 14 et des butées 15 est telle que le cou vercle demeure ouvert dans la position vou lue, sous l'action de son propre poids.
La partie 9 formant surface réfléchis sante peut également servir comme support pour des organes accessoires tels que: repro ducteur, manivelle de remontage. Sur le des sin, on a représenté cette partie 9 pourvue de pinces 16 disposées pour supporter une manivelle de remontage.
Bien entendu, .au lieu que la paroi ar rière entière de la boîte 1 et du couvercle 2 soient articulées à la boîte proprement .dite et présentent la surface réfléchissante, cette dernière pourrait être formée par une sur face présentée par une portion seulement de cette paroi. Dans ce cas, le reste @de la paroi arrière de la boîte ne serait pas mobile.

The machine shown comprises a box comprising an actual box 1 and a cover 2; the acoustic arm 3 is articulated to a support 4 disposed near one of the rear corners of the board 5 carrying the motor 7 and is connected with an amplifier duct 6 passing under the board 5. and then directed towards the front of the motor 7 (fig. 3) around which it passes to open towards the rear through the mouth 8 which occupies almost the entire surface of the rear panel of the box 1.
The rear walls of the box 1 and of the cover 2 form a single member 9 which may be a piece of flat sheet metal. This sheet 9, which forms a reflective surface, is integral with the cover 1 to which it can be fixed for example by screws 10; it is, on the other hand, articulated at its lower edge 11 to the rear lower edge of the box 1.
Each side of the part of the reflective surface which serves as a rear wall for the box 1 when the cover 2 is closed has a closure sector 12 perpendicular to the reflective surface 9 and can be obtained: in the case of where the surface 9 is sheet metal, by simple stamping @de the part forming both this surface 9 and the sectors.
The sectors 12 are housed inside the box when the device is closed and are then located adjacent to the side walls of the box 1; to this end, they pass through the narrow slots 13 formed between the side walls of the box 1 and the side walls of the mouth of the amplifier duct 6 below the board 5.
Narrow flanges 1d arranged on the front edges -of the closure sectors 12 may come into contact with the narrow flanges 15 provided on the side walls of the mouth of the amplifier duct ma. mother to prevent the sectors .de coming out completely -de the box and thus limit the displacement of -the cover 2 and the reflector 9, when these members are brought to their open position.
When the reflecting surface 9 and: the sector 12 are in their open position, they form an upwardly directed mouth of the amplifier duct 6 and the acoustic waves coming out of the latter are rowed forward by the inclined cover 2 of the. machine. The cover 2 cooperates with the surface 9 and the sectors 12 to constitute a mouth of the acoustic duct 6.
The -disposition of the cover 2, parts 14 and stops 15 is such that the cover remains open in the desired position, under the action of its own weight.
Part 9 forming a reflecting surface can also serve as a support for accessory components such as: reproducer, winding crank. On the figure, there is shown this part 9 provided with clamps 16 arranged to support a winding crank.
Of course, instead of the entire rear wall of the box 1 and of the cover 2 being hinged to the box proper and having the reflecting surface, the latter could be formed by a surface presented by only a portion of this wall. In this case, the rest of the back wall of the box would not be movable.
