Description
Method for processing a fuel dust mixture in combustion engines. The invention relates to a method for processing a fuel dust mixture from heavy and lightly burning fuel dust in internal combustion engines.
When processing pulverulent fuel in internal combustion engines, the fuel dust does not always burn in the short time that is available for this within a blower cycle. The burning and lighting is now ensured according to the method according to the invention in that the fuel dust mixture is subjected to a classification when it is introduced into the machine,
that the lightly burning fuel dust gets into the combustion chamber of the machine first and the heavily burning fuel dust only afterwards.
The little burning fuel dust itself then ignites in the combustion engine of the internal combustion engine with greater certainty.
For this purpose, the fuel dust that is fed in is subjected to segregation by sifting, for example when it is introduced into a loading chamber to be loaded or into a Schletisenraum to be loaded. introduced fuel dust mixture jet. The coarser and heavier grains, which are generally more difficult to burn, are thrown straight on the wall and delayed.
The finer, lighter dust particles, which burn more easily, on the other hand, follow, for example, a small amount of added conveying air without a wall stop and without the resulting speed reduction, generally remain floating in the additional chamber and lock and therefore arrive when the additional chamber is blown out rather in the combustion chamber of the machine.
The method according to the invention is suitable for piston engines and turbines and also for internal combustion engines which are to produce special chemical substances as exhaust gases.
