Abschlusshahn.
In der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstan des in F'ig. 1 in einem lotrechten Mittel schnitt und in. Fig. 2 in einem Schnitt nach der Linie 2@--2 in. Fig. 1 dargestellt;
Stopcock. The invention relates to a shut-off valve in which a ring cylinder, suitably formed from asbestos and graphite, is inserted between the chick and the housing, which, due to its weakly plastic material, can be compressed a little when one of its base surfaces is pressed and thus becomes tight against chicks. and housing lays.
To protect the ring cylinder against the destructive influence of highly heated, energized equipment. are used in the plastic cylinder Me tallkerne, in which the passage openings for the equipment are attached.
According to the present invention, long wedge-shaped metal cores for use, the wedge tips of which are directed against the end faces of the cylinder, whereby the essential advantage is achieved that the plug can be sealed with considerably less effort.
Furthermore, such a design and arrangement of the metal cores provided with the passage openings reduce the possibility of deformation of the same and thus of a change in the passage cross section, as well as damage to the straw plug.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in FIG. 1 cut in a vertical center and shown in Fig. 2 in a section along the line 2 @ - 2 in. Fig. 1;
3 shows a diagram of a ring cylinder with inserted metal cores which have a double-wedge shape; F'ig. 4 shows in the diagram a ring cylinder with metal cores of simple wedge shape.
The tap housing 1 is drilled out so far that between it and the plug 2 of the asbestos and graphite ring cylinder 3 takes place. By means of the screw cap 4 screwed into the housing 1, the ring cylinder, which is in contact with the screw 5 with one end face, can be deformed until it is in close contact with the housing 1 and the plug 2 and thereby perfectly abuts even at very high pressures seal secures. On the chick 2 a handle 0 is attached.
In the ring cylinder 3, two metal cores 11 and 12 are inserted at opposite points, which have bores 9 and 10 which correspond to the channels provided in the tap housing. This prevents corrosion of the plastic material by the medium flowing through.
The metal cores 11 and 12 are wedge-shaped and their wedge tips are gerich tet against the end faces of the cylinder, whereby the advantages mentioned above are achieved. Fig. 3 shows a Ringzylin with the metal cores of double-wedge shape used in these, which with. Bores 9 and 10 are provided for the passage of the operating medium. Fig. 4 shows a cylinder in which the metal cores have a fold wedge shape. The annular part of the cores ensures that the core is reliably supported in the ring cylinder 3.
To ensure the correct position of the ring cylinder and the in this attached through openings with reference to the channels -the straw housing can be provided in a well-known manner in the tap housing 1, a groove 14, with. which a rib 13 formed on the ring cylinder 3 at a corresponding point can be brought into engagement.
