Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Küpenfarbstoffes der Anthanthronreihe. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen Küpenfarbstoffes der Anthanthronreihe, da durch gekennzeichnet, dass man 1 Mol. Te- trahalogen-anthanthron wie es erhalten wer den kann aus Anthanthron durch Haloge- nieren in Oleum mit der nötigen Menge Ha logen,
mit 4 Mol. Monobenzoyl-1. 4-diamino- anthrachinon bei Gegenwart von säurebin denden Mitteln und katalytisch wirkenden Substanzen kondensiert.
Als Katalysatoren kann man zum Beispiel Kupfer oder seine Verbindungen und Salze verwenden. <I>Beispiel:</I> 6,2 Gewichtsteile Tetrabrom-anthanthron (zum Beispiel hergestellt aus Anthanthron durch Bromieren in Oleum mit der nötigen Menge Brom), 15 Gewichtsteile Monobenzoyl- 1 .4-diamino-anthrachinon,
8 Gewichtsteile wasserfreies Natriumacetat. 1 Gewichtsteil Ii-Qpferchlorür und 440 Gewichtsteile Naph- taliü werden unter Rühren und Rückfluss einige Stunden gekocht. Man verdünnt noch warm finit Toluol, saugt ab und wäscht mit Toluol, dann mit Sprit und endlich mit heissem ammoniakalischem Wasser nach und trocknet.
Man erhält so ein blauschwarzes Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit grüner Farbe löst und das aus stumpf wein roter güpe auf Baumwolle ein echtes grün- stichiges Grau ergibt.

Copper or its compounds and salts, for example, can be used as catalysts. <I> Example: </I> 6.2 parts by weight of tetrabromo-anthanthrone (for example made from anthanthrone by brominating in oleum with the necessary amount of bromine), 15 parts by weight of monobenzoyl-1,4-diamino-anthraquinone,
8 parts by weight of anhydrous sodium acetate. 1 part by weight of ferric chloride and 440 parts by weight of naphthalene are boiled for a few hours with stirring and reflux. The finite toluene is diluted while it is still warm, suctioned off and washed with toluene, then with gasoline and finally with hot ammoniacal water and then dried.
This gives a blue-black powder which dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a green color and which turns a dull wine-red güpe on cotton into a real green-tinged gray.
