Process for the photographic production of prints with rows arranged in columns. The invention relates to a method of photographic production of prints with rows arranged in columns. According to the invention, the individual lines of a print-ready set are printed in a line on a template and then photographed one after the other in a columnar arrangement on a light-sensitive carrier.
The interposition of print template requires a new extra work, but by means of which a free break and a slight correction should be made possible. The line images represent the least amount of make-up units and can be handled and exchanged just as easily when setting up as a single type.
The drawing serves to explain an exemplary embodiment of the method. Fig. 1 is a perspective view of an original print and a carrier of the for-mated set, and Fig. 2 shows the cross section of a device for performing the method.
1 is the original print of a print-ready set, 2 the carrier of the original print, 3 and 4 each a coil of the bandför-shaped original print carrier and 5 the light-sensitive carrier of the print to be produced. The dead space between the line impressions 1 is denoted by 6 and holes for actuating the original printing medium are denoted by 7.
In Fig. 2 you can see in the housing 8, the lamp 9, the picture window 10, 11, the lens 12 and a format carrier drum 13 with the shaft 14 and the drive -15. As can be seen from Fig. 1, the line prints 1 are lined up in a continuous line one after the other, creating the template that is easy to handle and zizm, for example, from the spool 3 to the spool 4 can be wound. The original prints are expediently produced photographically before photographing on the carrier 5 begins.
If the original print carrier 2 is a film or some other translucent tape, the photographic projection is facilitated. It is up to you to be able to produce positive or negative templates as you wish.
From this template, a line image 1 is set on the photosensitive carrier 5 according to the intended projection, indicated by dashed lines, the strip 2 is switched on after the upstream connection of the sentence carrier 5 and in the transverse direction in front of the length and then photographed . Arrows show the directions of the switching movements, both of which take place line by line.
The holes 7 in the carrier 2 can be carried along by notches, stops. Contacts or other operating points are replaced.
The device of FIG. 2 enables the method to be carried out with mechanical evenness. If the line carrier 2 is set in the drawn plane, parallel to the format carrier 5, to the format carrier 5, then the lines can be arranged in columnar form. The shaft 14 is wedged longitudinally displaceably with the drive 15, so that the drum 13 together with the carrier 5 can be displaced laterally.
The individual lines 1 of the original print carrier 2 can be transferred to the photosensitive carrier 5 with enlargement, so that one has a free choice of size with regard to the font.
The method allows unrestricted line breaks as break units. For example, every now and then, with the repeated edition of a work, everything can be rearranged with the help of the printing medium, new parts can be added, others can be left out, etc. Textbinders can be switched on everywhere and even attached to the printing medium according to the type of lines. When making corrections, you only have to paste a new line image.
