Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 136649. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen metallhaltigen Farbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen wertvollen metallhaltigen Farbstoff erhält, wenn man den Azofa.rbstoff aus. diazotier- ter 4-Chlor-2-amino-l-phenol-6-sulfosäure und 2-Amino-8-oxynaphthalin-6-sulfosäure mit kupferabgebenden Mitteln und mit einem Oxydationsmittel behandelt, wobei diese bei den Operationen nicht gleichzeitig, sondern nacheinander durchgeführt werden.
Der erhaltene metallhaltige Farbstoff bildet ;getrocknet ein graues Pulver, welches in Wasser und in verdünnter Sodalösung mit rötlichgrauer und in konzentrierter Schwefel säure mit graublauer Farbe löslich ist. Er färbt vegetabile Fasern aus neutralem oder alkalischem Bade in echten Grautönen an.
Beispiel: Man kombiniert in Gegenwart von Soda 223,5 Teile dia.zotierte 4-Chlor-2-amino-l- phenol-6-sulfosäure mit 239 Teilen 2-Amino- 8-oxynaphthalin-6-sulfosäure und führt den Farbstoff nach bekannten Methoden in die Kupferverbindung über. Diese wird in 8000 Teilen Wasser zusammen mit 50 Teilen Soda zur Lösung gebracht und darauf mit der 105 Teilen. aktivem Chlor entsprechenden Menge eines Alkalihypchlorits versetzt.
Nach einiger Zeit bildet sich aus dem rotvioletten Farbstoff ein neuer graufärbender, der im Gegensatz zum Ausgangsfarbstoff Affinität zur vegetabilen Faser zeigt. Durch Kochsalz wird er aus der Lösung abgeschieden und durch Umfällen gereinigt.
