Description
Spreading spring for holding the sheets of an open book. The drawing illustrates an example embodiment of the subject invention, namely: Fig. 1 the spring in view, Fig. 2 the spring in use with ge open beech and Fig. 3 the position of the spring in closed beech senem.
The spring shown has a fe-reducing wire with a U-shaped curved central part, which is inserted into the spine opening when the spring is used. As a result of its springiness, the wire can adapt to the width of the book spine.
The legs of the wire are held together at their free ends by a clamp 5. A handle 4, which is used to manipulate the spring, is attached to this ferrule. This handle can also be used as a company sign.
The wire goes at the level of the ferrule in two opposite side gerich ended arms with inwardly bent ends 1 and 2 over. These are used to hold the pages when reading.
When the book is closed, the spring is tensioned so that when the book is used again it opens automatically at the previously used location.
The pen is operated in the following way: You open the book, slide the middle part 3 of the pen into the opening of the spine, lifting the two arms of the pen so that its bent ends come to rest on the leaves of the open book when you let go. When turning the sheet of paper, you lift the arms of the pen and pull it out of the spine of the book, turn the sheet, look in the pen again and let go of its arms.
