Description
Schindel.
Shingle. The subject of the claim of the main patent is a shingle for Beda chungen, in which the shingle body is provided with a water-impermeable protective layer adhering firmly to it.
The present invention relates to a further embodiment of such a shingle, in which the shingle body consists of absorbent raw cardboard, which is not only provided with the protective layer mentioned, but is also impregnated on the inside with a water-impermeable mass.
To produce such a shingle, you can proceed as follows: Take a raw board, which has the property of being tough and absorbent, and pulls it through a waterproof impregnating compound, for example a non-sticky tar compound. After this procedure, the raw cardboard is pulled through a similar compound again to form the protective layer.
From the material prepared in this way, shingles of any size are punched out using a punching machine, which shingles can also be provided with one or more separate or continuous channels, for example with two narrower ones at a distance from one another, in order to increase their load-bearing capacity lie at or in the middle with a wider groove, etc.
In this way, rot-proof, water-impermeable, elastic and solid shingles are obtained.
