Dans le dessin annexé qui représente, à titre d'exemple, diverses formes d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention Fig. 1 est une vue d'ensemble, en posi tion fermée d'un rasoir; Fig. 2 montre le rasoir de fig. 1 déplié, la lame n'étant toutefois pas encore en posi tion d'utilisation; Fig. 3 est une vue de profil du rasoir prêt à l'emploi.; Fig. 4 est une coupe de fig. 3 pendant le repliement des éléments; Fig. 5 et 6 montrent deux formes d'exé cution d'articulation de la fourche porte-lame sur le support de la lame;
Folding safety razor. The object of the present invention is a folding safety razor with a rigid blade articulated on a support. According to the invention, the support for the rigid blade is articulated between the elastic arms of a fork and is provided with protrusions cooperating with counter-protrusions integral with one of the two arms of the fork, so that the support or blade holder is held rigidly in each of its rest and use positions, the fork itself being provided with at least one projection engaging in a recess of a handle.
In the accompanying drawing which shows, by way of example, various embodiments of the object of the invention, FIG. 1 is an overall view, in the closed position of a razor; Fig. 2 shows the razor of fig. 1 unfolded, the blade not yet being in the position of use; Fig. 3 is a side view of the ready-to-use razor .; Fig. 4 is a section of FIG. 3 during the folding of the elements; Fig. 5 and 6 show two embodiments of articulation of the blade-holder fork on the blade support;
Fig. 7 and 8 show respectively in front view and in rear view, a razor according to the invention provided with a removable round handle; Fig. 9 is a side view of the razor of fi-. 7 and 8; Fig. 10 to 15 are variants of the handle shown in FIG. 25 showing various locking devices; Fig. 16 and 17 show slidably mounted handle locking devices. The blade 3 of the razor has a thick head mounted with the possibility of pivoting on an axis 18 integral with a blade holder or support 8.
The axis 18 is integral with a cross member 19 intended to be housed in a circular recess 20 of the head of the blade 3, which recess is crossed by a notch 21 for the passage of the cross member 19.
A spring 22 is interposed between the blade 3 and its support 8 to maintain said blade in a suitable position.
The proper orientation of the blade 1 relative to its support 8 is determined by a spring pin 23 (fig. 4) housed in the support 8 and penetrating into an appropriate notch of said blade 3, immobilizing the latter in position of use shown in fig. 1 to 3.
To allow the sharpening of the blade, it can pivot to occupy the position indicated in phantom in fig. 2, as described in Swiss Patent No. 72531 in the name of the same inventor. The blade 3 com will carry under its lower face a second notch making it possible to determine and ensure this ironing position.
In order to remedy the wear of the blade resulting from repeated ironing, the comb 6 (fig. 3 and 4) is slidably mounted in a recess 24 of the support 8 and can be held in the desired position by means of a screw 25. This provision could also be replaced by an ex-centric or other control.
The support 8 is articulated at the ends of a fork 26 and can be maintained with respect to this fork in the two positions of rest or of use of FIG. 2 and 3, by means of interlocking teeth 27, 28 (fig. 5) or else by means of studs 29, 30 secured respectively, the studs 24 of the fork 26 and the studs 30 of the head 8 (Fig. 6) by using in both cases the elasticity of the branches of the fork 26 for maintaining the head in the correct position.
The fork 26 is articulated by its tail 31 between the branches 32, 33 of a bracket 34 constituting the handle and intended, for the closed position, to receive in its interior the assembly formed by the fork 26, the support 8 and blade 3 as shown in fig. 5. The edges of the tail 31 are preferably chamfered, to be housed in corresponding notches 35 (FIG. 4) formed in the arms 32, 33 of the yoke 34 in a known manner, so as to ensure the proper immobilization of the elements in the position assigned to them.
To determine with more precision the direction of folding of the various parts, stops will preferably be provided on the shank 31, for example as indicated by dotted cry at 36 (FIG. 2).
The operation is understood by itself.
The arrangement described allows easy and rapid dismantling of the various elements of the razor, thus ensuring that these various elements are kept in good condition.
In the case of the use of a cylindrical handle, this handle, instead of being articulated on the tail 31 of the fork 12, can be screwed as. indicated in fig. 7 to 9 on a threaded stud 39 integral with the shank 31, the handle 40 having, for example, the shape of a cylindrical tube.
In order to ensure complete securing of the handle 40 and the blade holder fork 12-31 both during use of the razor and during ironing of the blade 3, it is possible, as indicated in FIG. 10 and 1011, fit the end of the handle 40 on the shank 31 and hold this handle in position by a screw 41 penetrating the end of the shank 31 and provided with an operating head 42 provided at the end of the handle 40 which can fit on this end (fig. 10).
This locking could also be carried out as in fig. 11 where the threaded stud 39 onto which the end of the handle 40 is screwed is provided with an extension 45 of smaller diameter than that of the stud 39 and provided with a thread in the opposite direction of this stud. A tubular nut 43 with an operating head 44 housed in the handle 40 engages on this extension 45 and thus ensures the locking of the handle in the screwed position.
The arrangement of fig. 11 can also be reversed, that is to say that as shown in fig. 12, the stud 39 may include a threaded perforation in the opposite direction to the thread carried by its outer surface, the threaded perforation receiving the end of a threaded rod 48 integral with the movable head 44.
Immobilization could also be. obtained by wedging a conical surface 47 formed at the end of the stud 39 and wedged by a cup 48 carried by a rod 49 (fig. 13) or in a conical housing formed directly in the end of the handle 40 (fig. 14). This jamming can also be achieved by providing conical surfaces 50 at the end of the shank 31 and at the end of the handle 40 (FIG. 15).
It would also be possible to secure the attachment of the handle and the fork 12-31 by sliding fitting (fig. 16) by providing at the end of the fork 31 a slightly conical pin 51 on which the handle will engage and jam. 40, the unsticking being obtained by means of a screw 52 with operating head 53:
The end of the handle 40 can also be (fig. 17) clamped on a pin 54 (cylindrical, conical or other) secured to the fork 12-3l by means of a nut 55, the end of the handle could be split. this effect and conical.
In the various embodiments, the handle could have any desired shape and ornamentation, and could be made up of several sections assembled in any suitable manner.
