  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     o-Ogyazofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man neue     o-          Oxyazofarbstoffe    erhält, die wertvolle, durch  ihr     Egalisierungsvermögen    ausgezeichnete       Beizenfa.rbstoffe    von vorzüglichen Echtheits  eigenschaften sind, wenn man     o-Oxydiazo-          verbindungen    mit 2 . 8 -     Dioxynaphthalin    -     6-          carbonsäure,    zweckmässig in .alkalischer Lö  sung, kuppelt.  



  Die bisher unbekannte 2- 8 -     Dioxynaph-          tlialin-6-ca.rbonsäure    erhält man durch     Sul-          fieren    der 2. 6 -     Naphtholcarbonsäure    und       Alkalischmelze    der so erhaltenen     2-Naphthol-          8-su        -lfo-6-ca:rbonsäure.     



  Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich nun  auf die Darstellung     eines        o.-Oxya.zofarbstoffes     durch     Kombination    von     diazatierter        p-Nitro-          o-amino-sa.licylsäure    mit 2.     8-Dioxyna-phtha-          lin-6-carbonsäure.     



  Trocken ist der Farbstoff ein     schwä.rz-          liehes    Pulver, löslich in konzentrierter  Schwefelsäure mit bläulich roter Farbe;    er färbt Wolle in sehr gleichmässigen  rotbraunen Tönen; durch     Nachchromieren     erhält man ein     walk-    und     pottingechtes     Braun.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Man dianotiert<B>19,8</B> Teile     p-Nitro-o-          amino-saIicylsäure    in der üblichen Weise  und gibt die     Diazolösung    zu einer     soda-          a.lka,ischen    Lösung von 21 Teilen     2.8-Di-          oxynaphthaIin-6-carbonsäure    hinzu. Nach  beendeter Kupplung wird der Farbstoff aus  gesalzen und in üblicher     Weise    aufgearbeitet.
