Infolgedessen -be sitzt - ein-solches Schlaggerät einen sehr hohen Wirkun gsgrad.

Impact device with reciprocating hammer bear. The invention relates to impact devices with a reciprocating hammerbear, which is connected to a reciprocating drive member by two elastic systems which transmit the movement of the drive member to the hammerbear. Most of the time, the reciprocating movement of the drive member is generated by the fact that this is connected to the rotating shaft of a drive motor by connecting rod and crank. The invention now shows a means @ by which one the performance of such. Impact devices can greatly improve.
According to the invention, the compression constants of the elastic systems through which the hammer is connected to the reciprocating drive member are selected differently for this purpose. Useful here is the hammer bear, at the end serving as a surcharge constant by a spring with a larger Federkon, at its free-swinging end, however, connected by a spring with a lower constant with Odem drive member. The spring constant means a number that indicates how much work has to be done, for example to compress a helical spring by a certain length.
In this embodiment, the higher impact power is achieved by the fact that when the drive member declines to the drive motor, shortly before the end of this movement, the relaxed shock spring, which has a greater spring constant, is pretensioned by the return energy of the hammer r lies in the following: the exit e holds, c, the drive link in! the direction of impact of the hammerbear is exploited.
The spring constants of the two spring systems are expediently chosen so that the amount of energy that can be absorbed by the spring located at the end of the hammers' impact is approximately the same as that which is the sum of the Energy that the spring attached to the free swinging end of the hammer can absorb and that results from the return energy that is present in the hammer after the blow.
In Fig. 1, a Ausführungsbei is game of the invention - and a hammer driven by an electric motor.
The electric motor 12 is mounted on the upper end of the housing 11 of the hammer; a small bevel gear 13 sits on its shaft. This drives .das large gelra @ d 14, on which a crank 15 is arranged, on which the connecting rod 16 is articulated. This drives a slide 17.
The hammer bear 22 is connected to the slide 17 by two springs, the retraction spring 1 and the shock spring 21. - The springs; are supported outwardly on the spring plates 1.8 and 23 of the Hammerbear and inwardly on the lower surface 20: of the slide 17. The retraction spring has a significantly smaller spring constant than the shock spring 21. Wind .the hammerbear moves downwards, so it hits the tool, in both cases the chisel 24.
The effect of the hammer is as follows: When the large bevel gear 14 is set in rotation by the electric motor 12, which can also be replaced by a flexible, externally driven shaft, the slide is cranked 15 and connecting rod 16 a reciprocating movement in the housing of the hammer.
If the carriage moves to .dem drive, the motor, then the retraction spring 19 is compressed with a lower spring constant and the shock spring 21 is relaxed with a larger spring constant due to the inertia of the hammer. Shortly before the end of the slide movement, which slows down at the end, the return spring is relaxed during the movement of the hammer and gives the hammer an additional acceleration in the direction towards the motor.
Through this acceleration of the hammer bear the shock spring 21 is given a certain bias. As a result of the subsequent slide movement towards the list side, the shock spring continues to be tensioned and at the same time the hammerbear is forced to turn back. Shortly before the end of the slide movement in the direction of impact, which slows down at the end, the shock spring relaxes and gives the hammer hammer additional acceleration in the direction of impact.
The moment the hammerbear has reached its top speed, it releases its kinetic energy by hitting the v # tool 24. Through .die described device who achieved a substantial increase in the impact performance of the hammer and: the recoil on the hands of the operator, significantly reduced.
A -particularly good effect: the impact device can be achieved in this way that the hammerbear .only -on or, in the reciprocating drive organ, is slidably mounted in the direction of its longitudinal axis so that it is not supported by any other Place other construction parts ge needs to be performed. The advantage of this arrangement is that it reduces the hammer's own friction to a minimum.
As a result, such an impact device has a very high degree of effectiveness. Another advantageous design of the impact device can be achieved in that the hammer bear is connected to the reciprocating drive element by means of air cushions of different compressibility: This has the advantage that there is no fatigue in -, the cushioning occurs, as is the case with the deformation of motorized springs over time.
Eall is. - - Around. to achieve that the compression of the air cushions takes place linearly like a metal coil spring. can be arranged in the air cylinders in the longitudinal direction air outlet nozzles of such a size that they become smaller as the air space in the cylinder decreases. In many cases it can also be sufficient if only one connection between the hammer and the drive element is designed as an air cushion, while the other connection is designed as a spring.
An exemplary embodiment for this is shown in FIGS. 2 to 4 in top, side and floor plan. 25 is the housing of the impact device. At the upper end of this housing, a bearing 26 is attached in which the driving shaft 27 is mounted, 'wel surface can be set in revolutions by any drive. The rotary movement of this shaft is transmitted via the cure bel 28 and the connecting rod 29 to the carriage 30 guided in the housing, which consequently executes a reciprocating movement.
The slide 30 is designed as a hollow cylinder. 31 is the hammer, at whose .oberem end the piston 32 is placed, which is mounted in the hollow cylinder of the carriage 30 and has almost the same diameter as: this hollow cylinder. The hammer bear 31 protrudes like a piston rod from or below the wall of the hollow cylinder. The piston 32 is only of such a length that above and below it there are still air spaces that act as cushions, = the two moving back and forth. Movement of the slide 30 enables the piston 32 and thus the hammer head 31 to perform an oscillating motion whose stroke is greater than that of the slide 30.
The two air cushions above and below the piston 32 thus provide a resilient connection between the hammerbear 31 and the reciprocating slide 30. At the un tern end of the housing 25, the chisel 33 is attached, buy the hammerbear every back and forth movement occurs.
In order to make the air cushions differently compressible, nozzles 31 are attached to the wall of the carriage 30 in the part surrounding the upper air cushion, in which the lower air cushion surrounds the part, the nozzles 35, through which the Air from the air cushion in the lateral ducting channels 36 arranged in the housing 25 can escape. The air outlet nozzles 34 and 35 are designed so that they become smaller as the air space decreases.
Furthermore, the nozzles 34 are matched to the .Düsen 35 so. that the upper air cushion has a lower compressibility than the lower one.
To regulate the impact force can also be arranged at the two stroke ends of the hammer bear in the housing wall openings, which are connected to one another by a channel which is closed by a valve controlled by the switch for the working current that the air compressed by the hammerbeard can flow through the channel and relax even when the valve is open. The valve is expediently mechanically coupled by a push rod to the lever of the switch for the drive motor.
The device can be designed so that a spring engages the push rod, by means of which the valve is closed in the idle state and when the switch is switched on. An impact device equipped in this way has the advantage that the impact performance can be regulated without changing the electrical part.
In Figs. 5 and 6 an embodiment example of the invention is shown in section and in side view. The drive motor 38 is arranged in the hammer housing 37 and drives the slide 41 via the bevel gear 39 and the connecting rod 40. The hammer bear 47 is connected to the carriage 41 by the retraction spring 43 and the shock spring 45. These springs are arranged between the spring plates 42 and 46 of the hammer and the lower surface 44 of the carriage 41.
The hammer bar 47 acts directly on the chisel 49 and is designed as a piston which rests tightly on the inner wall of the cylindrical hammer housing 37 so that it absorbs the air above the impact head 48 when it descends -compressed_ The:
Compressed air can enter through the opening 50 arranged in the cylinder wall into the upward-leading channel 51 and through the opening 52, as well as through openings arranged in the slide in the upper part of the hanger housing stream; -where she relaxes again. The tap 53 is arranged in the channel 51;
on whose cheek the crank 54 is fastened, which -by the push rod 55 with the lever 56 of the switch -58 built into the handle 57- of the hammer is connected- by .die- spring 59 the cock 53 is kept in the closed position.
If the hammer with its tool is placed on a workpiece, the drive motor 38 is switched on by pressing down the lever 56, whereby the hammer bear 4J, which is freely swinging in the slide 42, is moved up and down. Due to the high number of blows between .the hammer head 48 and.,
4a - the cock 53 is still closed: - is: The downward movement of the hammer 43 is thereby dampened, so that it cannot act on the tool 49 with full force.
If the tool is correctly applied, the tap 53 can gradually be opened by further depressing the switch lever 56, thereby increasing the impact effect.
- If the air in the upper spaces of the hammer housing is not sufficiently relaxed, the air can expediently escape into the open by means of a valve arranged in the pusher housing 37 or similar!
Possible are: Since, however: - the hammer housing is filled with oil for good lubrication of the moving parts, a specially designed valve must be provided to guide the scent into the open air, _- @ that , the leakage of oil:
from -, the, oil chamber housing. _ In order to be able to use the impact device for longer or continuous operation. it is advisable to - - provide special cooling devices, one of which:
Prevent excessive heating of the device, which is mainly caused by the impact heat. In particular, advantageously, the impact heat is now eliminated by air currents that are caused by the reciprocating or rotating parts of the impact device.
For this purpose, the parts that are moved back and forth in the housing of the impact device can be provided with openings for the air flow to pass through, and one of these parts, either -: the hammer or the carriage that transmits the drive to the hammer, can be designed as a piston, through the movement of which air moves from:
is sucked in from the outside and .through the housing, - whereby the air is directed through .the opening arranged in the moving parts to-.the- impact head of the hammer bar - in order to dissipate the impact heat generated here.
In FIGS. 7 to 8, different versions of this are shown, with the same or corresponding parts being given the same reference symbols.
In the upper end of the housing 60 of a hammer hammer, the electric motor 61 is mounted, which drives the bevel gear 62 and the connecting rod -64 the carriage -65 which acts eccentrically on it.
The hammer bear 7 2 is about the feathers, -67 and 69, which by the .an her: upper resp. un = lower end designed as a spring plate hollow cylinder 68 and 70 are held in their position, connected to the slide 65. The hammer bear 72 is designed as a piston. and provided with channels 73 - the Jurch, the valve. 74 turn closed.
The channels 73 are led around the hammer head 75 of the hammer, so Jass through the openings 77 at the end of the hammer housing, which are also through. Valves 76 are closed - when the hammerbear is moving upwards, cooling air sucked in from outside:
is passed close to the impact head. The resulting impact heat can thus be easily dissipated by the cooling air flow. The exiting from the channels 73 of the hammer bear cooling air, the path of which is indicated by arrows, flows in part within the hollow cylinder 70 and passes through openings provided in the carriage 65 into the space of the gear 62. The other part of the cooling air flows through the openings 71 arranged in the hollow cylinder 68 and strokes up the inner wall of the hammer housing 60 until it also fits into the space of the transmission through the openings 66 located in the slide 65.
From here it passes through the openings 63 into the open. During its downward movement, the hammer hammer strikes the tool, for example the chisel 78.
The arrangement shown in Fig. 8 corresponds essentially to that of Fig. 7, with the only difference that the cooling air sucked in from the outside by the hammerbear 72 when moving upwards is controlled by valves 79 arranged on the slide 65.
In the arrangement according to FIG. 9, the cooling air flow is generated by a fan 80 arranged on the shaft of the electric motor 61. This sucks air from the outside through the openings 77 at the lower end of the hammer housing 61, the openings 73 in the hammer bear 72, the openings 66 in the slide 65 and through the openings 82 in the partition 81 arranged in the upper part of the hammer housing and pushes them through the openings 83 to the outside.
As a result of the even air flow caused by the fan 80, a valve is not required either in the reciprocating parts or in the lower end of the hammer provided with openings.
Instead of sucking in the cooling air at the lower part of the hammer housing, it can also be guided in the opposite direction so that the impact head is cooled by the compressed air generated by the moving parts. As a result of the good dissipation of the impact heat achieved, the impact performance of the hammer can be increased significantly, especially during long periods of continuous operation.
The invention can also be used for impact devices in which the hammer bear is connected to a core of electromagnets that is movable in the axial direction. Mostly, several electromagnets are used, the common core of which serves as a drive. Such per se known impact devices can be operated by direct or alternating current, the two coils alternately receiving a current pulse. The impact devices are conveniently connected to an alternating current network in a known manner with the help of rectifiers or electron tubes through which each coil receives a current pulse of constant polarity.
The number of strokes of this device corresponds to the number of periods of the alternating current; when connected to a normal, 50perio- .diges alternating current network, it amounts to 8000 beats per minute. The impact performance depends on the mass and the speed of the impact device. Since the kinetic energy grows quadratically with the speed, the impact power can be increased significantly with the same mass of the impact device; if you can increase the speed of the hammer in any way.
A particularly good effect can be achieved in such devices that springs with different spring constants are connected between the hammer bear and magnetic core, the spring with a large spring constant is arranged in such a way that it: gives the hammer bear an additional acceleration in the direction of impact .
Fig. 10 shows an embodiment for this. In the case of the striking device shown here, the hammer hammer 101 is arranged coaxially with the magnetic core 99 and with the interposition of the two springs 102
