Spachtelkitt.
Putty. The invention relates to a filler putty. A putty according to the invention consists of at least two components, one of which is a filler, such as chalk, while the other component is a glue-containing substance, which has the effect that the putty prepared from the two components by kneading after its Application dries very quickly compared to commercially available putties and can be sanded in a short time after application.
An exemplary embodiment is described to explain the invention. To obtain the glue-containing substance, one part of gelatine is dissolved in six parts of water and a hydrocarbon acid such as oxalic acid is introduced into this solution, about 6% of its weight.
An oil, such as poppy seed oil, is added to this glue solution, about 10% of the weight of the preceding substances. An addition of an aromatic hydrocarbon, such as benzene, serves to ensure that the individual components of the mixture are well distributed and to homogenize them as much as possible; about 4-6% of the total mixture is added.
Adding turpentine oil in small amounts, around 2--3 0%, has a beneficial effect on the suppleness of the glue-containing substance. To obtain the ready-to-use filler, chalk is added to the glue-containing substance, the mixing ratio of the former to the latter is about 1: 21 / z. Small amounts of formaldehyde are added to preserve and thicken the glue-containing substance.
In addition to the chalk or instead of the chalk, another substance of equal value can also be used as a filler. Instead of oxalic acid, a mixture of oxalic acid and borax can also be used. Instead of benzene, lower or higher alcohols or a mixture of benzene with lower or higher alcohols can be used. A beneficial effect on the behavior of the finished putty also arises when the adhesive substance. Cobalt is supplied. Other technical oils and drying agents can also be used as additives to the glue-containing substance.
