Notorhaitearm with electric steek device for sewing machines. The innovation consists in the special design of the motor holding arm, which is used in sewing machines to attach an electric drive motor to the body of the sewing machine.
This motor holding arm is characterized in that it carries the plug device with which the motor and the sewing light is connected to the electrical distribution line between those parts that are used on the one hand to fasten the motor holding arm to the machine and on the other hand to fasten the Serve the motor on the motor support arm.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the motor holding arm with connector is shown for example.
1 is a perspective view of the motor holding arm with the socket and plug, FIG. 2 is a front view of the part of the plug device containing the plug pins, FIG. 3 is a rear view of the same part; Fig. 4 is a circuit diagram; F'ig. Figure 5 shows the motor support arm attached to a sewing machine; Fig. 6 and 7 show movable connector parts with cables.
The arm A made of cast iron or the like is in a known manner on its back with grooves a, b in dovetail or similar shape, in the appropriately designed, on the stand of the sewing machine, or on the engine attached bars fit so that with The arm A on the stand of the sewing machine and the motor on the arm A can be reliably but detachably fastened with the help of screw bolts that pass through the slot c and the holes d . A flange-like surface is provided on the front surface of the arm, on which the connector device rests so that it can be tightened with a screw f.
The plug device is made of pressed insulating material or the like and consists of the one that carries the plug pins g at the same time. designed as a terminal board part B (Fig. 1, 2), also the attached to the back of B cover plate C (Fig. 3) and finally the sockets containing part D (Fig. 1).
The wires l and m leading to the sewing light and the motor are clamped to the rear parts of the pins g with nuts or the like. A sleeve-like protruding protection collar runs around the connector pins at some distance.
The three connector pins do not sit in a straight line, and the protective collar is designed on one side, so that the Steek part D, which fits into the protective collar and which carries the bushes, which shows the same shape, can only be inserted in a certain position, which means the uniqueness of the connection contacts is guaranteed.
At the back of the board carrying the pins and terminals, the protective cover C is attached with screws w or the like (Fig. D).
The line I leading to the sewing light exits through the middle of the protective cover C in the direction of the connector pins, so that this line between the motor and the sewing machine stand leads to the sewing light in the shortest and most protected way. The line m leading to the motor emerges between the terminal board b 'and the protective cover C downwards.
As already mentioned, part D of the plug device contains the plug sockets; the lines p and q clamped to them, which lead to the wall connection and to the starter of the motor, emerge perpendicular to the axial direction of the bushings, which counteracts inadvertent loosening of the movable plug part.
These lines p, q can exit the movable plug part either both upwards (Fig. 1) or one upwards, the other downwards or one to the right and the other to the left (Fig. 6, 7).
The circuit of the lines d, m and p, q can be seen from FIG. The design of the motor holding arm and the connector device according to the inven tion allows good use of the available space, which is particularly important in ver lowerable sewing machines. It also enables a clear arrangement and easy operation of the sewing machine and the motor connection.
