Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Anschlussvorrichtung für elektrische Bügeleisen, bei der die Steckerbolzen im Bügeleisenoberteil in einer Porzellan-oder ähnlichen feuerfesten Einlage, an die sich ein Schutzring anschliesst, befestigt werden, und der mit Bohrungen versehene Stecker auf die Bolzen des Bügeleisens aufgesteckt wird. Diese bekannten Bügeleisen, die mit einem Schutzring aus Blech versehen sind, haben aber den Nachteil, dass Fremdkörper, z. B. Nadeln, sich leicht festsetzen und Schaden anrichten können ; solche Nadeln können nämlich trotz dem Sehutzring beim Aufschieben des Steckers mit der Hand des Büglers stromleitend in Berührung kommen oder sie können Kurzschluss hervorrufen.
Um diesen Nachteil zu vermeiden, sind erfindungsgemäss die Führungen des Steckers für die Bolzen erst im oberen Teil stromführend ausgebildet. Vorzugsweise ist der Stecker hiezu zweiteilig ausgeführt und ist der Sehutzring ebenso wie die Einlage im Bügeleisenoberteil aus Isoliermaterial hergestellt.

Anschlusseinrichtung für elektrische Bügeleisen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die aus dem Bügeleisenoberteil herausragenden Steckerbolzen von einer Einlage aus Isoliermaterial (Porzellan) und einer Schutzhülse aus dem gleichen Material umgeben sind und dass die Führungen des Steckers für die Bolzen erst im oberen Teil stromleitend ausgebildet sind.
