Gas turbine with hendeluder liquid as propellant. Gas turbines with oscillating liquid. As propellants, in which, in a known manner, rotating water pistons oscillate under the action of gas pressures between two impellers through a guide ring, are there economically: dependent on da.ss it is possible to keep their energy losses from water friction and turbulence low and to render harmless the hydraulic side effects of the pendulum motion of their water pistons.
According to the current state of knowledge, these tasks are most perfectly solved in an embodiment of the turbine which, in a known manner, has two separate impellers and which equips them with the particular peculiarity which forms the feature of the invention.
The invention consists in the fact that the mean guide ring radius is only slightly larger than the largest external distance of the water level from the axis of the shaft. In the case of a turbine built in this way, the blading can then expediently be designed in such a way that the impeller cells between the combustion chamber and the outlet gap have an unchangeable cross-section.
that the separating wall of two adjacent impeller cells lies in its radial part between the combustion zone and the axial zone in an aclisial plane, and that finally the axial zone of the impeller cells is divided by a cylindrical wall in such a way that it is in the axial part of each impeller cell an inner and outer sub-channel is created, and that the stator channels on the inlet side only have the same radial height,
like the impeller part channel on the opposite side, as they show the full height of the impeller channel on the outlet side, so that the pendulous motive fluid can only enter the stator from one of the two partial channels of the impeller cells, while it can flow from the stator into both partial channels of the impeller cells.
In the drawing, the invention is illustrated in one embodiment, for example, ver. The turbine shown in Fig. 1 initially shows as much as possible an approximation of the circumferential speed in the stator gap to reflect that in the water. The lower the circumferential speed in the guide wheel gap, the lower the absolute water velocities in the guide ring for a certain specific power, the greater the associated flow cross-sections and the lower the friction losses in the guide channels that are dependent on both of them.
With the previously known wheel shapes based on centrifugal pumps and transformers, it was desirable to reduce the peripheral speeds. Cannot be achieved in the wheel gap, because the lengths of the water pistons required in the interest of splash safety increased the wheel diameter the more splash-proof one wanted to make the lifting movement of the water level.
According to the invention, however, the circumferential speed in the wheel gap can be largely reduced without impairing the spray reliability, or the spraying efficiency without enlargement; Increase the circumferential speed in the wheel gap at will, and thereby. that the main development of the required rotor blade lengths takes place axially in the limit case and radially only to the extent that it is determined by the distance (r of the water level parts in the outer end position from the shaft axis.
This feature of the new type comes in Fig. 1 from the print. The individual water piston oscillates between the wheels 1 and 2 through the stationary guide ring 3. The inside diameter of the wheel drums has moved as close as possible to the outermost position of the water level. The blade is between the points. 4-5 and 6-7 developed purely axially, and elongated to the extent that, in view of the given angular speed of the turbine, the prescribed spray safety is required.
Every further lengthening of the wheel blades increases the spray reliability without increasing the speed of rotation in the wheel gap.
This first measure makes a second possible, which also has the effect of improving the efficiency of the Pen del process. Since any desired degree of spray safety can be achieved through appropriate piston lye without increasing the circumferential speed in the wheel gap and without increasing the associated friction losses in the guide ring, the flow cross-sections of the impeller cells in the direction of the guide ring can be kept unchangeable in borderline cases,
so that the re-entry of the water into a flow cell is possible without converting speed back into pressure. With the previously known wheel shapes, in the interests of spray safety, it was necessary to taper the barrel cell cross-sections in the direction of the guide ring, and this involved a conversion of speed into pressure when the water entered the barrel cells, i.e. a certain deterioration change in the hydraulic efficiency of the pendulum process is unavoidable.
This loss group can be completely avoided by the measure given last in the present turbine; will.
A third training option depends on the first. Described-feature together, which allows a further improvement for the operation of the turbine. B-21 of the new wheel shape, the blades between the points 8-4 and 7-9, that is, in the entire area of the mirror strokes, and the subsequent bends 7week- wise, in the extreme case, are completely radial.
This was previously impossible, but it is of particular advantage compared to the effect of the Coriolis acceleration, which can be seen at the piston ends in the variable inclinations of the tase level and, with non-radial blades, an inadmissible exposure of the blade walls In the new design, these IM side effects of the pendulum movement, which are desirable, can be significantly reduced.
Independently of the relative reduction in the circumferential speed in the wheel gap, a fourth measure is carried out in the turbine according to FIG. 1, which further reduces the friction losses in the guide ring and at the same time improves the blade effect in the guide channels. The axial zone of the running wheel cells is divided by cylindrical walls 10 and 11.
1-) The water exits through one part, for example the outer one at 12, while the re-entry into the running cells is through both parts 13 and 14 at the same time. The success of this measure is expressed in FIG iapra.min for any, for example the liö (#list occurring relative pendulum speed.
The relative exit speed from the rotor blade Wa is significantly greater than the relative entry speed into the rotor blade Wc. Because of the relative linear reduction of the circumferential speed tr in the wheel gap, the projection x per se becomes larger than usual for a certain specific power.
Due to the additional difference in the relative speeds Tlra and We, the diagram angles a and. ss are now significantly greater than was previously achievable. However, the larger the angle a, the larger the stator cross-sections and the smaller the specific friction losses in the guide channels. The greater the further the angle ss, the safer the necessary diversion of the water within the guide channels, and the more sensitive the control effect.
The turbine has a water-free casing and achieves this through elastic seals in the gaps 5, 6, 15, 16, 17, 18. The rings 19 thus seal the gaps 5, 6 between the running wheels 1, 2 and the fixed housing wall 20.
