EMI0002.0025
Wie man sieht, wäre unter solchen Umständen die Nachbildung nur bis 0,4<I>wo</I> praktisch genau. \Fenn man aber in diesem Fall r,;

EMI0002.0047

worin b das Dämpfungsmass # # eines Gliedes der Pupinleitung bezeichnet;

EMI0003.0037
Die andern Kurven von Fig. 5 geben den Verlauf des Scheinwiderstandes der Nachbildung Fig. 4, und zwar die Kurven 2,2' für die Werte Co --- 0, C, <I>=</I> C2 = 0,0323 ss F,<I>60</I> .SZ, L=0,159H, R=1610 2;
=1'11=2H und der Wicklungskapazität <B>ei</B> =cz=0,005ssF an die Nachbildung angeschlossen ist, und dass die Elemente der letztern folgende Werte besitzen für die Kurven 2,2' <I>Co<B>0,</B></I> C, =Ca=0,0323ssP, i=60 2, L = 0,1<B>5</B>9 H, R = 1610 S); für die Kurven 3,3' Co = 0, Ci = 0,031 ,u P, Ca = 0,0249 ,a b', r---60 Q, L=0,14811, R=16102;
für die Kurven 4,4' <I>Co</I> =5ssF, Ci =0,04ssP, 0rL=0,025ssP, r=60 2,L---0,1411, R=1470(1.
Simulation of the impedance of long Pupin lines. To simplify the simulation of the impedance of long Pupin lines, it is known that double-tube repeaters can be used, the gain of which is reduced for all vibrations above a certain frequency. It is therefore sufficient to simulate the impedance of a long Pupin line practically precisely only up to this frequency.
The subject matter of the present invention is a simulation of the impedance of Pupin lines, which is practically accurate from low frequencies up to frequencies of 0.8 of the cutoff frequency of the Pupin lines. (Frequencies that are too low, at which the derivation is effective, do not need to be taken into account).
According to the invention, the simulation has a network terminated by an ohmic resistor with inductance in the main circuit and condensation in the shunt, one of which is divided into two parts, namely one in front of and one behind the other reactance .
Apart from Fig. 2, the accompanying drawing relates to exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention.
According to Fig. 1, the network completed by the ohmic resistor R has an inductance L and an ohmic resistor r in the main circuit; In addition, it has a capacitance C, which is divided into two equal parts G, namely 2 one (left) in front of and one (right) behind the inductance L arranged part.
If one would in Fig. 1 on the one hand <I> L, r, C </I> respectively equal to the inductance Ly, the ohmic resistance r, and the capacitance Cy of a member of the Pupin line, on the other hand R equal to the so-called nominal wave resistance
EMI0002.0001
the Pupin line, you would get an exact replica of the impedance of a Pupin line only for low frequencies,
which starts with a run-up length of half the coil spacing. This is to be demonstrated with reference to FIG. 2 for the case of a loss-free line (r, <I> = 0 = </I> r).
In Fig. 2, the dashed line 1 shows the course of the real apparent resistance here
EMI0002.0010
the pupin line; depending on the angular frequency c), while the fully drawn curves 2 and 2 'the real part and the imaginary part of the impedance of the simulation
EMI0002.0014
represent.
Formula (2), in which the cut-off frequency of the Pupin line denotes, is reached if one uses in the expression
EMI0002.0018
<I> C, L, </I> r, <I> R </I> respectively by C,:, <I> L,;, 0,
EMI0002.0022
</I> replaced and the product L, - Cy by
EMI0002.0025
As you can see, under such circumstances the replica would only be practically accurate to 0.4 <I> where </I>. But if one r, in this case;
<I> -0 </I> = r without changing R, the two quantities L, C of the network are reduced in the same ratio 5: G, the simulation is made to the desired frequency 0.8 where practically accurate. This is now to be proven with reference to FIG. 3.
In FIG. 3, for <I> C, L, </I> r; R respectively the values - Cy, <I> L,;, 0,
EMI0002.0035
</I> assumed <B> 6 6 </B> men. Its line 1 is congruent to line 1 in FIG. 2.
Their curves 2, 2 '(the drawing is not precise in this regard) should be affine to the curves 2, 2' in FIG. 2, by increasing the abscissa in the ratio -
EMI0002.0040
= 1.2 formed; this corresponds to the replacement of where in expression (2) by the increased limit frequency <I> wo '=
EMI0002.0042
</I> <I> where </I> of the replica network. It can be seen that the latter is practically accurate to 0.8 mo and therefore corresponds to the invention.
With a small r ,, one can set in Fig. 1
EMI0002.0047
If the run-up length of the Pupin line is less than half the coil spacing, in order to save the known attachment of a supplementary capacitor on the line side, the simulation in FIG. 1 can be changed by changing the front capacitance
EMI0002.0053
uni reduced the same amount; the network then becomes unbalanced. The front capacity can also be increased if the run-up length is greater than half the coil distance.
If r "is larger, the arrangement according to FIG. 1 and formulas (3) will no longer have the desired accuracy range and more profound changes must be made.
The complex expression is used instead of the real expression (1)
EMI0003.0001
where b denotes the attenuation factor # # of a member of the pupin line;
EMI0003.0006
there is now an imaginary part, namely a consistently capacitive one, while the imaginary part of the simulation according to FIGS. 1 and 3 except for co
EMI0003.0013
irlo remains inductive.
To remedy this problem, it is shown to connect a capacity in parallel to the whole replica of FIG. 1 or, what comes out to the same thing, the front capacity Ka
EMI0003.0018
to enlarge; the network becomes asymmetrical when the starting length of the Pupin line is half the coil distance. One can go further in order to take into account the fact that expression (4) for the negative reactance at low frequencies (but not so small that the derivative takes effect) is greater, such as
EMI0003.0021
results in varying values, you can connect a capacitor in series in front of the network.
In FIG. 4, Co denotes such a capacity connected in series upstream of the network WI <I> r L </I> Cs, and it is assumed that Ci> Ws. How Co, Ci,) -, <I> L, </I> C- and R are to be dimensioned in order to achieve the best possible results can hardly be expressed by simple formulas; but one can reach the goal empirically by changing the values (3) through systematic trial and error.
The results of such experiments are shown in FIG. 5 for a pupin induction with the data C ,, = 0.0734 ss F, @y, <I> = </I> 60 2, Ly = 0.191 <I> H </I> shown, assuming that the run-up length is half the coil distance; it follows from this data
EMI0003.0037
In Figure 5, the curves 1, 1 'show the course of the real and imaginary part of the impedance of the line to be simulated, up to 0.8 coo = 13600.
Values of co that are too small are omitted (if m = 0 in formula (4), one gets -; - oo for the real part and <B> - </B> co for the imaginary part, while actually, as a result of the derivative , both parts remain finite for co = 0, the imaginary even becomes zero).
The other curves of FIG. 5 give the course of the impedance of the simulation in FIG. 4, specifically the curves 2.2 'for the values Co --- 0, C, <I> = </I> C2 = 0.0323 ss F, <I> 60 </I> .SZ, L = 0.159H, R = 1610 2;
the curves 3,3 'for the values <I> Co = 0, </I> Ci --- 0.031pF, Ca = 0.0249ssF, r = <I> 60 </I> f, L = 0.148H, R = 161051; the curves 4.4 'for the values Co = 4, O, aF, Ci = 0.031, aF, C; = 0.0249P.F r = 605), L = 148H, R = 1610 fl.
It can be seen that the simulation according to curves 4.4 is practically accurate to 0.8 coo.
If the Pupin line is not directly connected to the replica, but via official devices which do not change the qualitative course of the curves 1, 1 'of FIG. 5, one can refrain from repeating these devices on the replica side by adding the elements Co , Ci, r, <I> L, </I> Ca, R of FIG. 4 are determined directly in such a way that they practically simulate the entirety of Pupin line and office equipment up to 0.8 where.
In Fig. 6, it is assumed, for example, that the Pupin line according to Fig. 5 has a ringing current blocking capacitor of <I> 1 </I> u <I> F </I> capacitance and a ring transformer with the induction coefficient Li = L:
= 1'11 = 2H and the winding capacitance <B> ei </B> = cz = 0.005ssF is connected to the simulation, and that the elements of the latter have the following values for the curves 2.2 '<I> Co <B > 0, C, = Ca = 0.0323ssP, i = 60 2, L = 0.1 5, 9 H, R = 1610 S); for the curves 3.3 'Co = 0, Ci = 0.031, u P, Ca = 0.0249, a b', r --- 60 Q, L = 0.14811, R = 16102;
for the curves 4,4 '<I> Co </I> = 5ssF, Ci = 0.04ssP, 0rL = 0.025ssP, r = 60 2, L --- 0.1411, R = 1470 (1.
It can be seen that the simulation according to the curves 4.4 'is again practically accurate to 0.8 <I> wo </I>.
In place of the above-mentioned office machines, others can also appear, including artificial lines to lengthen the Pupin lines. The latter is indicated when amplifiers of normal size are arranged too short .Abstands; the artificial line should then bring the attenuation to the value of the normal amplifier spacing without changing the qualitative course of the curves 1,1 '.
Despite the fact that only exemplary embodiments have been described in which the reactance of the network divided into two is the condenser, those are also conceivable in which the reactance of the network divided into two is the inductance. The use of the latter will be indicated where the approach length of the pupin line is either very small or very large (almost equal to the coil spacing).
