Appareil aspirateur.
Vacuum cleaner. The object of the present invention is a vacuum cleaner which can be used, for example, for cleaning up and renewing air in any medium whatsoever, for removing fumes and fumes from homes.
--This apparatus is characterized in that it comprises a tubular or green part at its two ends, substantially vertical, on the upper end of which is disposed a hollow part whose upper end is closed and whose shape is such that a space exists between the greater part of its side wall and the wall of the first part, orifices being made in these side walls so that air entering through orifices made in the lower part of the hollow part,
penetrates at least largely inside the tubular part passing through orifices that this part presents and exits the latter by its upper end to gain openings made in the upper part of the hollow part and thus exit of the device, all with a view to obtaining a suction from the bottom up inside the tubular part.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the apparatus according to the invention.
Fig. 1 is an elevation of a first embodiment; Fig. 2 is an axial vertical section of the device according to FIG. 1; Fig. 3. Is an elevation of a second embodiment and FIG. 4 is an axial section. The device according to fig. 1 and 2 comprises a cylindrical body a surmounting the object mistletoe is to receive it, a closed vehicle for example. The body a is open at both ends.
In its side wall are made openings b each obtained by making a notch in this wall so as to form a rectangular tab, integral with the part a by its lower edge, which is made to protrude at the inside a, so that air can pass through these orifices b sensibly from the bottom upwards, entering the body a.
On the body a is disposed a removable hollow member c constituting a cap terminating, at its upper end, in a conical part or cap. Its lower end is open and engaged in friction with the body "a. Between its two ends, this cap has frustoconical parts, so that it has very appreciably the profile of an accordion.
In the lower frustoconical part of the cap c, at places situated practically opposite the orifices b, are practiced orifices e obtained in the same way as those of the body a. The cut-out tabs project inside c, substantially vertically. The shutters f are arranged on the body c, at the places where the orifices e are located; they are open at the bottom, so that air can gain, by a vertical movement from bottom to top, the inside of the cap c and from there, as indicated by the arrows, the inside of a passing through the orifices b.
Near the upper end of c are formed two orifices d, only one of which is visible, which are similar to the previous ones and intended for the outlet of the air entering the body a.
A collar g sealingly connects the lower part of the cylindrical body a with the roof of the vehicle.
Inside this same lower part of a is engaged the upper end of a tubular part i flared at its lower part and open at its two ends. In the wall of this part i are formed openings j obtained in a manner similar to the orifices û of the body a and tongues are used to guide the air coming from the space between the plate Ic and the roof h of the vehicle, roughly vertically inside i, as indicated by the arrows. N vents allow the air located in the different parts of the space between k and h. to reach the ports j.
Inside the flared part of i is housed a ceiling light l supporting a lamp. This ceiling lamp is surrounded by an openwork gallery ni.
When the vehicle is moving, air enters the body a through some of the openings e, depending on the direction of the vehicle, passes through the openings b and gains the outlet openings d. The upward movement of air in the body has the effect of eidering a call for air inside i. Thus the air between the ceiling k and the roof h is sucked inside i through the openings j and also exits at d. < / I> This results in air circulation through the openings n and inside the roof, which attenuates the calorific effect of the sun in summer, and, in winter, attenuates the heat. the action of cold.
In this way, a temperature regulation is practically obtained, which to a certain extent avoids the expansion and the working of the woodwork. This same suction inside produced the evacuation of the stale air contained in the vehicle, thanks to the openings of the openwork gallery. This stale air also escapes through the openings d. The latter are arranged laterally, relative to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, so that, in practice, neither rain nor dust can enter the device.
In the second embodiment (fig. 3 and 4), means are provided to stop the dust and purify the smoke coming from the lower part of the body a. This device is particularly applicable to factory chimneys and domestic fireplaces. It comprises, 'in addition to parts a and c, similar to those of the first embodiment, two fixed sieves o and o', of conical shape, arranged one above the other coaxially .
Inside a, along its axis, there is a control rod q to which are fixed mobile brushes p and pi capable of sweeping the screens o, respectively o1 to remove dust that they stopped. .
The control rod q is operable by means of a crank, by the intermediary of bevel gear wheels r and of a shaft t. During the rotation of s, the arms p and pl rotate around the axis of the rod q. The latter could be an action born continuously, at the hub of an electric motor for example.
The device according to the invention has in particular on devices of known types the advantage of not comprising movable members, apart from the brushes p and p1 which are accessories, and of having therefore safe operation. .
The apparatus according to the invention will preferably be made of stainless steel enamelled sheet.
The c organ could naturally be permanently attached to the x-ray body.
