Description
Hrampfaderstrumpf.
Ferrule sock. There are so far both stockings made of rubber fabric, such as those made of non-stretchable fabric Herge provides for varicose vein stockings. Both types of stockings have disadvantages and advantages.
The purpose of the present invention is to produce a stocking which has the advantages of both types of stocking, and this is achieved according to the invention in that a lacing is provided at one point in the stocking made of only slightly stretchable Ge fabric, in order to attach the stocking to the to be able to tighten the corresponding point of the foot with adjustable tension.
The lacing can be done by an elastic cord, which can give way when the foot swells. This cord can be pulled through eyelets, loops or the like in the non-stretchable fabric of the stocking, so that by more or less tightening this lacing element, the stocking can be pressed more or less tightly onto the foot. In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown schematically attached to the foot in a side view.
The little stretchable stocking 1 be seated laterally at the point that comes to lie in the vicinity of the instep, a slot provided with reinforced edges 4. Along this holes 2 are provided and a cord 3 is pulled through this. With the latter, the slot can. more or less closed and thus the stocking can be pulled taut as desired at the corresponding point on the foot.
The edges of the slot could be connected to each other mitein by means of elastic intermediate links provided with adhesive instead of a pull cord.
