Description
Fig. 1 zeigt dasselbe im vertikalen Quer schnitt, während Fig. 2 eine Frontansicht desselben dar stellt.
Headlights for vehicles, in particular motor vehicles. The present invention is a headlight for vehicles, in particular motor vehicles. This headlight is set up in such a way that the dazzling effect of the headlights, which is unpleasant and dangerous for the driver, is avoided when crossing vehicles, without the intensity of the lighting being reduced for this purpose or special mechanical dimming means or. Vorrichtun conditions, must be triggered.
The subject matter of the invention is characterized in that the housing of the headlamp has light channels arranged one above the other, which are inclined forward towards the roadway and guide the light emitted by the light source onto the roadway.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment from the subject of the invention is illustrated.
Fig. 1 shows the same in vertical cross section, while Fig. 2 is a front view of the same is. The headlight has a housing 1, which is completed by a transparent glass disc 2 to the front. In the rear part of the housing limited by a partition 1 ', two electrical luminous bodies 3 are arranged, each of which is seated in a parabolic reflector 4, which directs the light rays of the luminous body in parallel and throws it against a flat reflector base 5.
The latter reflects the light rays in turn, but at a certain angle, so that they emerge from the housing 1 through light channels 6 that penetrate the partition 1 'and are passed forward obliquely to the driving plane. For this purpose, the light channels 6 are slightly inclined forward against the driving plane and arranged one above the other. The light channels have a slit-shaped cross-section and are formed by relatively thin partition walls or slats 7 built across the housing 1 and arranged at regular intervals on top of one another.
Furthermore, the light channels are directed parallel to the reflected light rays emerging from the housing, their length and width being dimensioned so that the reflector 5, which is the actual cause of the blinding glaring light effect, is the handlebars of a headlamp moving vehicle remains covered.
The arrangement of the light source in the housing Ge is insignificant, since the luminous bodies 3 with their corresponding parabolic reflectors could take the place of the reflector 5 Re.
It should also be noted that the expression “light channels” is to be interpreted in the most general sense, that is to say it also includes light exit openings or slits. In this sense, for example, two parallel rows of slots could be arranged on the headlight at a certain distance from each other such that the connecting line of the center points of two opposing slots would have the corresponding inclination with respect to the driving plane.
