Montre-calendrier.

EMI0006.0003
Calendar watch. The present invention relates to a calendar watch, comprising a date crown integral with an internal toothing in which is engaged a jumper for preventing inadvertent rotation of the date crown, and an indicator of the days of the date. week, integral with a crown with internal teeth and mounted idle coaxially with the date crown.
This calendar watch is characterized in that said jumper has an arm intended to advance step by step the crown integral with the day of the week indicator during each movement of the date crown, said arm of the jumper having to its free end a widened part shaped as an actuating spout and a locking spout opposed to one another and intended to act on the toothing of the ring integral with the day of the week indicator.
In an earlier construction, <B> It </B> is provided for a date crown having internal toothing in which a jumper is engaged intended to prevent inadvertent rotation of the date crown. The days of the week disc is integral with a star and rotates freely around a cylindrical rim provided by an auxiliary plate, coaxially with the date crown.
In another prior construction, there is a date wheel with 31 teeth cooperating with a jumper in the form of a rocker, the free arm of which advances the star of the days of the week step by step during each movement of the date wheel.
If we compare the watch according to the invention with the previous constructions described above, we notice that it clearly differs from them. A detailed discussion of the first construction does not appear necessary, since the only features common to the invention are listed in the preamble of the claim and are therefore considered to be known.
As for the second known construction mentioned above, it will be noted that the date indicators and

Finally, the claimed construction allows the elimination of any corrector, while the known watches described above are provided.
The appended drawing shows, as an example, an embodiment of the calendar watch forming the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view of this embodiment, with partial cutaway.
Figs. 2 and 3 are sections on an enlarged scale, not relevant respectively. by lines iI-II and III-III of f-g.l. From the movement of the calendar watch shown, only the roadway 1 and the hour wheel 2 can be seen, carrying the minute hand and the hour hand respectively, not shown. The hour wheel 2 is engaged with an intermediate wheel 3 of the same diameter and of no, no, number of teeth, pivoting freely on a drop 4 of plate 5.

The dial 13 rests on a support 14, the outer circumference of which serves as a guide for the date crown 10. In the <B> Il </B> teeth of the fourth crown 10 is engaged a jumper 15 presenting two inclines. 16 and 17 and subjected to the action of a spring 18 tending to keep these inclines 16 and 17 in contact with two consecutive teeth of the set of teeth 11. The jumper 15 is: pivoted on a pin 19 of the plate 5 and has a arm 20 directed approximately towards the center of movement. The arm 20 is doubly bent at 21 and has at its free end an enlarged part or head 22.
This part 22 has, on the one hand, an elongated central opening 23 for the passage of the barrel 24 of the hour wheel 2, and, on the other hand, an actuating nozzle 25 and a locking nozzle 26 opposite the to each other and intended to cooperate with the toothing 27 of a ring 28 with seven teeth. The crown 28 is attached to a disc of the days of the week 29, the hub 30 of which is mounted idle on the barrel 24 of the hour wheel 2. A window 31 of the dial 13 makes it possible to see the names of the days of the day in succession. week carried by the upper surface of the disc 29.
The calendar watch described and shown operates as follows: When the watch is running, the hours wheel 2 drives the intermediate wheel 3, the pinion 6 of which turns the driving wheel 7 at the rate of one revolution in twenty-four hours.
The arrangement is such that around midnight, the finger 8 acts on one of the teeth of the set of teeth 11 and advances the date crown 10 by one tooth, in the clockwise direction of FIG. 1, so that a new date appears in the window 12. At the moment of the rotation of the date crown 10, the jumper 15 is lifted by a tooth of the crown 10, against the action of the spring 18, then falls back into the next toothing of toothing 11.
When lifting the jumper 15, its arm 20 also moves, so that the actuating spout 25 of the enlarged part 22 acts on the side of a tooth of the crown 28 and advances this crown in the clockwise direction. of fig. 1, of a sufficient amount so that the tip of the tooth 27a of the crown 28 exceeds the tip of the locking nose 26.
When the jumper 15 falls back into a gap of the teeth 11 of the crown 10, under the action of the spring 18, the actuating spout 25 comes out of the teeth 27 and the locking spout 26 acts on the left side. (fig. 1) of tooth 27a, so that crown 28 thus ends its displacement by one step, that is to say by one tooth, and that, for example, the indication "MONDAY" is replaced by "hARDI".
Note that the left tilt (f i g. 1)
EMI0006.0003
of <SEP> becty <SEP> errouiilage <SEP> 26 <SEP> is <SEP> shorter <SEP> than <SEP> the tilted <SEP> of right <SEP>, in order to ensure that the tip of the nose 26 can act each time on the reverse of the tooth of the crown 28 and complete the rotation of the latter by one step.
On the other hand, the inclines 16 and 17 of the jumper 15, which cooperate with the teeth 11 of the crown 10, are of the same length, and the driving wheel 7 occupies a position such relative to the crown 10 that when it rotates in a direction or the other, crown 10 advances or
EMI0006.0004
with a step. In other words, when the watch is running normally, the date advances by one unit once a day and the day of the week is replaced by the next day, but when the hands of the watch are turned backwards, the date crown 10
EMI0006.0007
one step, while the days of the week disc 29 <U> advances </U> by one step.
In fact, in the latter case, when the date crown 10 moves back, the jumper 15 rises in the same way as when the date crown advances, so that the action of the jaws 25 and 26 on the teeth of the crown 28 is the same as previously described and always causes the crown 28 and the days of the week disc 29 to advance. Under these conditions, the watch described does not need a corrector. At the end of a month with less than 31 days, it suffices to turn the hands forward as many times as twenty-four hours as it! there are days to catch up.
When the date number "1" is reached, it suffices, to obtain the correct day of the week, to exert a back and forth movement on the time setting around midnight: backward movement, the date is moved back by one and the day of the week advances by one, and with each forward movement, the date and day of the week both advance by one. It is therefore easy to quickly obtain the desired day of the week, corresponding to the first day of the following month, since the number of days in a week is odd.
The beak 26, known as the locking beak, ensures the locking of the days of the week disc 29 between two functions of the mechanism, its two inclines resting on the points of two successive teeth of the crown 28. This beak 26, as already said above, also has the role of perfecting the rotation by one pitch of the crown, after this rotation has been initiated by the actuating spout 25.
In the embodiment shown, the arm 20 of the jumper 15 is doubly bent so that its head 22 reaches the level of the crown of the days of the week 28. According to a variant not shown, the jumper could be packaged so as to be placed outside the 2 hour wheel, which would reduce the height of the mechanism.
To achieve this
EMI0007.0003
variant, <SEP> it <SEP> would suffice <SEP> to enlarge <SEP> sufficiently <SEP> the <SEP> diameter <SEP> of
<tb> the <SEP> crown <SEP> 28, <SEP> this <SEP> which <SEP> would leave <SEP> a <SEP> plus <SEP> large <SEP> empty <SEP> between <SEP> the
<tb> wheel <SEP> for the <SEP> hours <SEP> 2 <SEP> and <SEP> the <SEP> crown <SEP> 28. <SEP> The <SEP> jumper <SEP> would be <SEP> located
<tb> then <SEP> in <SEP> the <SEP> same <SEP> plan <SEP> as <SEP> the <SEP> wheel <SEP> of the <SEP> hours <SEP> 2. <SEP> According to < SEP> a
<tb> other <SEP> variant <SEP> not <SEP> shown, <SEP> the indicator <SEP> of the <SEP> days <SEP> of <SEP> the week could be greater than the date crown and consist of a crown rotated around its perimeter.
