Description

      Elektriselies Zeitrelais.

      Elektriselies time relay.

I The known timers, which determine the expiry time in electrical relays, also work correspondingly inaccurately due to their relatively large friction. If these inaccuracies are to be eliminated, the electrical torque, by means of which the timer is overcome, must be increased in such a way that the friction torque is very low compared to the electrical torque. However, this in turn results in greater electrical energy consumption and makes the construction more expensive.

According to the invention, a very precise time relay with low energy consumption can be built if a clock escapement is used as the time mechanism.

In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject invention is shown. The electrical torque is generated by an electromagnet 1 in this case. If this magnet is electrically excited until the torque of the armature 4, which can be set by a spring 2 and a lever 3, is overcome, the armature 4 is attracted under tension of the timer spring and simultaneous movement of the spring lever 6 the direction indicated by arrow 13 over the swinging under spring force 8 wheel 9, and so under the torque of the. Spring 5 driven standing time mechanism.

When the armature 4 attracted, the timer runs depending on the time set by means of the contact lever 10 until the release contacts 11 are connected.

With an appropriate choice of the spring 5 and the electromagnet 1, for example, a direct mechanical triggering of a switch can be achieved if that element of the timer which transmits the greatest torque, for example the shaft 12, acts on a release pawl of a switch. Instead of being generated electromagnetically, the electrical rotation clock can also be generated according to the electrodynamic principle, or according to the Ferrari principle and the like, whereby current, or voltage, or power, etc., can be effective.
