Trocknung in folgedessen günstig.
Method and device for drying stereotype matrices. The subject matter of the invention is a method and an apparatus for drying stereo imaging matrices. In the well-known devices of this type, the die is placed in a drum which, as it rotates, is guided past radiators. This embodiment has a number of disadvantages. The drum is quite heavy and a powerful motor is required.
Since the drum does not automatically stop in the position in which the material can be inserted or removed, the drum must be brought into this position either by hand or by a special device. The heating of larger masses requires quite a considerable amount of heat. Finally, the drying is also unfavorable, since the air rotates with the drum and as a result there is only a slight relative movement between the air and the die.
The described disadvantages are avoided by the invention. According to the invention, the die is bent in a semicircle for the purpose of drying and inserted between holding elements arranged in a semicircle within a channel through which the drying air is driven.
The consumption of "## @" poor and work can be kept considerably lower than with known methods. The relative speed of the air in relation to the material is high and the drying is therefore favorable placed in the drying zone so that no water vapor is generated in the drying air.
The drawing shows an embodiment example of the device for performing the method.
The Mater 1 to be dried is inserted between the Halfe wires 3 arranged in a semicircle within an air channel of the closed housing 2. The electrical stimulation wires 4 are arranged in the drying tunnel in which the air flow circulates in the direction of the arrows 5 in such a way that the air flow is driven through the fan 6 between the same and sweeps away from the radiators along the matrix 1.
In the space separated from the drying tunnel, which is delimited by Z @, and 8, there are crash burners 7, which give off their heat to the circulating dry air through the thin sheet metal wall 8. 9 are the holes for pulling off the exhaust gases. 10 are holes for the entry of the combustion air. The dry fresh air enters through the supply holes 11 . The inflow can be regulated by slide valves or similar supply lines.
The device therefore also has the advantage of the controllable barges. The fan 6 is driven by a motor 12.
