Water separators in the Ölur ice skating electrical apparatus. It has been shown that in the oil circuit of electrical equipment, such as in the example of oil transformers, water is often carried away, which then gets into the oil bath of the electrical equipment and can cause damage there.
The invention seeks to prevent this occurrence by ensuring that water is separated from the oil circuit before the same can pass into the oil bath of the electrical apparatus. For this purpose, the return line of the oil circuit is connected to a Wasserabsebeidebehält and in this the oil flow is controlled in such a way that about the water entrained in the oil circuit has enough time and opportunity to be excreted at the bottom of the container to be abge there.
The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the subject invention. With the oil return line d of the oil circuit of an oil transformer, for example, a container e is connected, which is provided with a ventilation pipe f and with respect to the cross-section of the line d is spacious and is also equipped inside with baffles o, which the oil run Break in the container in such a way that the oil has to travel a serpentine path in the container.
At the same time, due to the spaciousness of the container e, there is also a significant reduction in the speed of movement of the oil in the same. The consequence of this is that not only the air that is possibly present in the oil, which can be more easily separated from the oil than water, rises in the container, but also that the water that is possibly entrained in the oil circuit; which can form an emulsion-like mixture with the 01 , separate from the 01 and settle on the bottom of the container, where it can be drained off by means of a tap.
The baffles emanating from the bottom of the container e have openings o1 at the bottom for communication purposes for the separated water.
It will be useful to arrange an electrical contact device in the container e on the bottom so that as soon as the separated water in the container reaches a certain height, the contact device is closed by the conductive water to an external control circuit, such as a warning signal or automatic water drain - control, lock.
A small amount of water left in the outgoing 01 can be absorbed by a water filter p, which is connected between the container e and the oil transformer.
Understandably, an embodiment is also conceivable in which the air separation is dispensed with and value is only placed on the water separation. In this case, the upper container attachment would be omitted.
